No that wasn’t the point at all. the point was people complaining they couldnt get ADMs up without astroid belts and evidently didn’t want to install a moon drill to get it taken care of with a few hours of effort

It would be very interesting to see the data CCP got after just one day of new rules running. Something so scary so they are reverting changes immediately.

I don’t believe this one bit. There was no real game breaking bugs to speak off.
Nah not scary, they immediately got feedback that drone assisting wasn’t working and then took a day to discuss amongst themselves what they wanted to do if anything. Sounds like some coding is needed to make it do what they want so instead of leaving everyone hanging they changed it back.

semi afk droneboats is too easy targets in pvp… they die often and cannot hit back. very easy to counter them… space is too big for gang them by roaming fleets, so you have to make space smaller… maybe by adding some system combat scan mechanic for racon ships… like combat scan by A.Y on map to 3-5 systems radius… like an option

And again, it is low/to attention gameplay.
BTW, why would you target the same frigate now that you can’t just laser point a single thing and have all your drones chasing after it?
Select different targets on each different char you have, and clear sites faster that way.
If people really are struggling trying to kill one frigate with 50 drones, and complaining that it’s not an effective way to multibox, then I can only pray they learn the basics of the game soon.
EDIT: Well, there you go. Seems like drone assist will be back.
If CCP is okay with that, then I’m in no position to argue against it anymore.
I’ll probably go grab myself a Domi or two and enjoy laser pointing rats as well.

Imagine the most counter-productive direction CCP could go.
That’s the direction.
The biggest ISK faucet in the game, which players, INCLUDING ME, cried to nerf for years, was buffed.
So now bots are earning even more, and players still won’t rat with MESS anyway.
i find it hard to understand the need to belittle people that post opinions here. or judge them based on what they think they know about you by looking at zkill or your employment history. for the record:
i have played for over 11 years now. before there was warp to zero at stargates, when putting down a station egg was a herculean effort. PI didnt exist. SOV was more about presence, POS and bash mechanics. So yes, i am one of those old guys that enjoyed a tough game. however, convincing my friends and my kids to keep playing after the 2 week trial was difficult. the learning curve was too great.
I have multiple accounts, each specializes in either pve or pvp depending on what is happening in game that day. I like to think my diverse experience in the game gives me a reasonable basis for the things i question after updates.
Right now there is more turmoil in the game than i have ever experienced. I think CCP needs to slow down and better explain the moves they are making in order to help retain players and help them adjust to new gameplay. As it stands right now we are bleeding members this is not good for the game.
and that is just my opinion. sorry if my opinion doesnt match everyone elses, but I still think CCP should know and this is a “forum”

Thank you… I secretly love EVE and CCP which is why I’ve spent over 1200 dollars on a video game over the years… but me professing my love for CCP will not persuade anyone not to make what I think are bad decisions for the game; anyways thanks for everything and keep up the good work (after you fix this latest thing)
Thanks. This was a killer for my small alliance in null trying to maintain military ADM. If you want to make changes to improve gameplay or make it easier to spot botting activity, fine. But please consider what this kind of thing would do to the small groups of REAL people trying to make a go of it in null.
