Oh, please. And then what? After I loot the drops from two battleship wrecks, I just fly off to a station to dump the few large-volume items a crappy little frigate can hold and rinse and repeat that bullshite over and over and over again? GTFOH.
??? A Heron can easily hold 500m3+
I noticed the reply much further up the thread after I had posted. Sorry for the redundancy.
The correct solution to deployable clutter around structures SHOULD be a 10,000 km distance restriction MINIMUM to any structure in a starter system instead of CCP saying FU and your deployables of any kind anywhere in the starter systems.
Clueless Clown Posse. Find the FIRST WORST idea proposed and run with it seems to be their M.O.
400 according to EVE Wiki. I think that is still not enough for most L4 missions though if you are doing 100% loot/salvage. I’ll take a look at the suggestion when I log back in shortly. Although, I don’t very much like the idea of removing my super speedy ESCAPE FRIGATE to replace it with a frigate set up to do salvage.
When it comes right down to it, too, the volume of missions I end up getting that are located in a starter system is going to be very low and probably not worth the extra effort.
As you said - if the time and effort is too great it is not worth salvaging a few missions that are far away. Just skipping the salvage in those cases, and move on to the next mission. Less time wasted, and less irritation.
But if you really want all the salvage and loot from every mission you could hire a salvaging corp to follow you around - if there are any such corporations near your area. They can easily vacuum up the loot even in starter systems.
About the last update:
There is a scaling problem for the next system in a route that I have noticed before - and it still persists in this new update. When a system name is long the region gets scaled down to a super small ant sized font.
Example: Look at the size of “The Citadel” in the 2nd line.
And we also have a new Eve program icon. Interesting.
Exploration frigates have a native cargospace of 400 m3 which can be increased further with proper modules and also have a bonus to salvaging cycle speed as well. As you can fit the frigate for dedicated salvaging it can be fast and efficient at its job.
Another option is to BM the wreck site and come back with a Sunesis. They can salvage and escape quickly.
Also wont the person be putting the salvage in the BS, so its the BS’s cargo thats the important part if using the frigate bay method.
No point in trying to reason or come up with workable solutions. When you get between a grindbear and his isk they go mental and feral.
Its just wierd because Im not sure if Ive ever maxed out cargo on lvl4s.
Been a while so cant remember. If I did, I jetted the can, bmed it, flew out, emptied and returned.
I mean, we did do this stuff before MTUs existed, and tbh I rarely use those bait magnets anymore anyway.
I can’t remember if I’ve filled up my raven. I know I’ve definitely filled up my drake in one mission. But it’s not a big deal. Empty the hold in a station and then come back. These days, I fly with another account in a noctis to clean up the battlefield.
Thanks, looks awesome, great job CCP. Big fan of it now.
When you are trying to encourage Microtransactions and people paying cash for Skillpoint bundles, it may be beneficial to let players know how much SP is in their Skill Queue in total.
That big empty space between “Training Time” and the three buttons could easily accommodate a “Total SP in queue” stat.
It’s as if you guys are allergic to money, sometimes.
they will make big money with rebranding eve as win 8 for seniors.
Yup, it would be both informative and a tease. Now we have to use evemon for that.
I think I know why they did this change to the UI of the skill sheet. And it hasn’t got much to do with being easier for new people, simply because it isn’t.
I think they did it because of Eve Everywhere and people playing on things with touch screens with no keyboard.
It’s just a guess, but look at a screenshot of this crap on something like a phone or a small tablet.
Thanks for the replies, EM.

Dear CCP,
Please could you tell me when and where the winners of the GMWeekwordsmith will be announced.
Thank you
That sounds like the best explanation for this horror, and its a really bad idea. Its like trying to fit 20 pounds of game into a one pound bag and its just not going to work.
@Uriel_the_Flame You know the question goes both ways… “Don’t you have a computer?!”
