I do not know, if this is a deliberate design choice, or an oversight.
Detected exploration sites have their signature in a different spot than naturally spawning exploration sites. I’d assume that’s a deliberate design, if not for the fact that upon warping in, you land off the signature (where signature would be in a natural site).
The problem is, that if you are not the first person to warp to the site, you will land at 0 on the signature, that (in some cases) is inside a large collidable object, making you bump heavily.
This feels more like a bug than a deliberate design choice.
Basically, they behave correctly until a ship with a criminal timer cloaks and then decloaks on grid with the sentry guns. Then the guns go active and kill anyone with a criminal timer

EBR-42342 (from the client who wasn’t evr cloaky but got gate gun aggros after the cloaky ship trigged the bug and then left grid)
