it give something to do and it seem a good direction into player mission creation

Player mission creation? Man, you are dreaming…

i said step in the right direction

I’m not sure where you get “player created missions” from “null-sec recruiting tool”. Delude yourself if you will, but some of us can see the snake oil a mile away.

not all freelance job are just ad, some feel like a mission

Of the 25% jobs that aren’t outright scams, the rest are null-sec recruiting.

well, yeah, it’s player made so i expect a lot of “mine in ahbazon, it’s totaly safe, trust me bro” type of scam

but a few are actualy mission, they do to work in their presentation then just “go here, kill 10.000 guristas”

Yes, the last one I found: 20m ISK up for grabs, 100,000,000 available. Only it turns out it was kills - not damage. So, 20 ISK per NPC kill (not a typo). Really, really hard to get excited about that…

There are zero rewards for Freelance Projects outside of null-sec unless you’re baiting and scamming, because the only reward to the contact issuer is a) ADM or b) recovering your listing costs through ganking someone.

Next big fight and GPU Pipeline does nothing to improve performance and tidi is still the same trash that it’s always been. No locking targets, no activating modules, the Fleet Window dies completely. This is a disgrace.

Can you quit a freelance job if you accepted it? Are there penalties to quitting or not completing? This whole system seems very similar to the contract system, except it’s not limited to selling/hauling items.

Yes. No penalties that I’ve observed. They’ve indicated that a “delivery” aspect to Freelance is still causing development issues, so it won’t be in the Jun 24th Legion update.
