It’s not an actual SKIN. It’s a glitch. Faction module name got switched for a SKIN name. It was a joke that they got what they asked for. No such SKINs exist in the game that give any kind of bonuses to hulls or pilot skill. They’re still just a vanity item.

I believe it’s in some anomalies and/or missions.
I was wondering the same, like why do they put this objective?
Then, I see the objective progresses, and the game tells me I can mine some in the Caldari system I am in.

Anomalies in “regular” HS systems have LS ores I believe (kernite, ombers), except for the career systems (they added (Faction ) Managed ore site, and they do have pyroxeres, although career systems’ “belts” only have Veldspar and Scordite, even in Akiainavas (a 0.7 system)). I think I saw pyroxeres in Exordium in the Federation constellation, in one of those managed ore site. I visited Trossere yesterday, but there was only Veldspar in it. It was late in the day, so maybe if there was supposed to be pyroxeres it was mined already?
I was a bit confused by the objective too. It might be a typo and was meant to read “any high sec”. At the bottom the objectives usually have a list of systems - and in this case it listed every high sec system, so basically it was saying you are allowed to mine Pyroxeres anywhere in high sec and still contribute to the empire’s objective… which I think is nice because you don’t have to travel too far and it opens up a lot of places to do the objective - very refreshing compared to the far traveling and few locations required by some other objectives. Although from a logic perspective it does make it confusing to see why it would actually help the Gallente objective. My first guess is that for some reason they want to study ore types that is not found in great abundance in their own systems…

Nope, still in any system in Eve. Here an alt in Minmatar… And there is NO pyroxeres in Minmatar HS.
Because “career system”, belts only have veldspar and scordite (so no plagio, even though normal 0.9 systems would have them in Minmatar space). And the Republic Managed belt only have Veldspar.
Conclusion: this objective don’t even try to find the closest system with pyroxeres (like all other objectives shows you the closes system of the specific faction and security level the objective can be done in), it only tells you whatever system you are currently in, regardless of the actual ability to mine the ore. Or it tries to find a Gallente system with pyro, and throws and exception and the client default to showing the current system.
So, the objective is most probably being progressed by miners in Caldari and Amarr space… Or even in null sec…
I meant that all high sec is Gallente space now, obviously. In interpretation of this development.
Since todays patch 06.08.2026 Jetcans only exist about 2 mins until despawning and the local is inconsistant. PLS fix it <3

I can’t reproduce this error. My can is still there after 20 mins, and I’m pretty sure it’ll still be there after 2 hrs as well.
