I’ve just never bothered to use the new forums, used the old ones occasionally, but someone linked this thread so I thought I’d chuck my two cents into the ring. Sorry it wasn’t original enough for you
Careful Foggy, if you say the wrong thing to the right sleeper, you mind end up activating them, like you did with me.
Oh hell no, I was there and help defend it but I look forward to the shake up it will bring.
As someone who was there fighting for a long time during its Stellar Reconnaissance stage I say not (although having issues voting).
Let Niarja be the warning of what happens when Empire treats this invasion with apathy. If you want you systems to remain safe and connected to Empire space, get in fleets and fight for it.
The opening stages are fully PvE (anomalies and roaming NPC fleets) and there are plenty of groups with accessible fleets inviting people.
Lol why would CCP step in and change the player sandbox? And judging by the results so far- CCP are free to leave it as us.
Unfortunately, it seems as if the Russians have interfered in this election.
There are three things you don’t understand:
- You were born in and came from hi-sec.
- I can live in null.
- System security flipping under 100 hours not days or weeks. While unanchoring a structure is 168 hours.
Antagonize these first two and call Concord space “safe zone” is pointless.
3rd is just plain stupid on CCP part. How can any system flip so fast?
CCP changed the sandbox by introducing Trig invasions. So they can change it again, I vote they move invasions to null, delve to start with.
You realize that just gives nullblocs who live in those systems effectively limitless amounts of free income in the form of NPC ship bounties, salvage, etc. It’s like you don’t have three braincells to think about this…
There is zero chance any highsec children (like yourself) are organized enough to go out to nullsec to fight in the Invasion systems enough that the system’s security levels are raised above nullsec. And since nullsec blocs have zero incentive to fight for the EDENCOM side, they’ll just farm these invasion systems for all they can squeeze.
Ok, let’s assume this happens.
Since Delve is already armed to the teeth with capitals, they’re able to blitz every single EDENCOM site with capitals (or subcaps, it doesn’t really matter), and they can farm these sites effortlessly for DAYS. Who is going to stop them?
Are you and your pathetic little friends going to fly all the way out to Delve with your ships to fight on the side of EDENCOM? Can you get past all of the gatecamps in Delve before you even make it to the invasion systems? Are even competent enough to handle nullsec travel with bubbles?
It’s so painfully obvious that you’re not smart enough to think through the implications of what you’re saying. You’re only saying that it should hit nullsec and Delve because all you know is “if any invasion happens, the security status changes”, and nothing more. So you think that if an invasion happens in Delve, it’ll naturally just change to highsec. And you think “haha! because i don’t like it when a highsec system changes to nullsec, they will surely not like it when a nullsec system changes to highsec!” But you don’t have have the additional brain cells to think WHY a security status change happens.
Make all gates look like this, so you all need to clear them and oblige people to only move in fleet or get ganked by the Trigs, lets see how you would like that. And to spice it up, since it’s null, spawns should have a bunch of dreads as well in them. Same on your belts, planets moons and DED sites…
Remember how null cried and mass rage quit when local chat was disabled ? This was also reverted, wasn’t it ?
You know you can be neutral to trigs right?
But i can have positive trig standing and sit in minor victory system, looting people that get rekkd by werposts.
Entropic Disintegrators speak louder than polls.
Niarja invalidated Minmatar space for too long. Finally, the Freedom Line has been made relevant.
Correct, because CCP said it was temporary.
I had a snarky response to this, but it’d offend some sensitive soul and an ISD would slap my wrist.
Sure you can bend anything like you want it. However in high sec rules are on defenders side. You don’t have to pvp unless you chose. Even those that ‘PVP’ in high sec mostly get blown up by concord which is actually PVE interaction. Sure, you can wardec and the ganked player can be noob. But you are trying to label PVP on restricted space that hardly can count as PVP. In high sec your assets for example are completely safe where as in null or hole space not. So if you still want to label high sec as ‘PVP’ space I consider your and the people that actually like your comments having really narrow vision of what PVP actually is.
Too many people in highsec dont care or hate people with different playstyles than them. CODE was there trying to save Niarja with the rest of edencom. Even CODE, your worst enemy was trying to save your arse and most of you were just too apathetic to show up.
Holy cow, looking at where we came from: who’s bending anything as he likes it? Oh boi. Hilarious.
edit: Just to conclude it: you said you go to “PVP space” to do PVP and i said, every system is a PVP system because you can PVP everywhere.
Your counter-point was that that there’s like a dozen noob systems out of the 8000 or so systems which allegedly aren’t “PVP systems”, which is wrong because PVP is possible in there - theres just some special rules on it to protect new guys.
And now you derail with silly accusations and throwing in new topics like asset safety because youre simply wrong.
Embarrassing, really.
Just for you dude just for you.
