you have got to be trolling at this point.
I voted for invasion mechanics/liminality storms to kill local in 0.0. Make all space j-space!
Funniest part about this thread: safezoners canât even organize to rig a stupid vote for their advantage. Let alone things with any meaning or relevance.
You wouldnât believe how hard my filling are right now.
You guys are really just pathetic farmhands.
It was PvP from start to finish. One group of players vs a swarm of nullsec players to flip a system. By the time I even heard about it it was already 82% under Triglavian control. During Stellar Reconnaissance there was a horde of goons destroying EdenCom hubs as soon as the popped up. Edencom stood no chance whatsoever. The idea that just because Niarja fell that no one tried is absurd. People fought and they lost. Surprise! Surprise! Nullblocs have more organization and can throw more manpower around then HiSec random pick up fleets. Funny how when forced content was placed in their backyard it was nothing but whining and complaining. I heard this was a few years back.
At the end of the day this is a game that people expect to enjoy. Not some monotonous grind-fest just to maintain the status quo. Most of the people complaining (trader and haulers mostly) would only get themselves blown up repeatedly. Thatâs what happens when you have an OPâd enemy force that is NOT easily accessible for the casual player. The impression I get from people is that they feel they are powerless because you need a blinged out T3 cruiser or a T2 battleship to even stand a chance against these triglavians in a fleet setting. Thatâs the impression many carebears have in my anecdotal experience. âThis is something for those big alliances out there to handle. This wasnât made for me.â Youâd be surprised how many people in HiSec donât even know whatâs going on to this day. They were not interested and donât grasp the consequences. âInvasion? Whatâs that? Whatâs a âtrigâ?â Iâm not a trader or a hauler, nor do I frequent Jita from Amarr, but I just wanted to participate in a fleet for fun. CCP keep rubbing the content in my face at every turn so might as well give it a try. But since I fly T1 frigates (fairly new) and have no cruiser skills I was rejected. And, no, I have no intent to dismiss my current skill plan to rush into a cruiser, BC or BS that I wonât be properly skilled for just to flush what little isk I have down the toilet fighting OPâd NPCs. I like flying frigates at the moment and thatâs what Iâm going to do.
And again, it was not âthe poor HSâ players vs âthe evil NS blocksâ
It was pro Edencom HS players + Brave vs the triglavian community + goons.
And the fleet of the trig community had up to 120 people (with up to 600 in local)
Additionally there was the Stribog corp fleet and our pvp fleet.
We also had traders and haulers in the trig fleet, who couldnât wait to make their profit out of the split when trading will move from Jita to the other trade hubs.
Its funny this all start to sound more and more like politics⌠In life you are stuck with the politics around you but in game you donât have to revolt you can just quit.
Eve has been able to thrive as PVP game and thriving economy because there has been large groups of different kind of players that input to the economy. Economy is quite complex and each group needs each other. For example PVPers by meta propulsion modules that source mainly is mission running. Holers buy faction ammos that come mainly from mission runners. Mission runners then again buy exploration loot and different kind of ships.
Many pvpers and null players say that HS guys are complete trash literally. Since Brave and Goons are null sec alliances why should they have a say how HS is developped? Same again what right I have as HS and hole player to say what becomes in null sec.
Anyway I think there is way too much spice and assholes in EVE community for MMO game that is suppose to be social game. This is real problem for EVE and CCP should acknowledge this or EVE will eventually collapse.
This said I will start my absence. I am sure you brace this message with love. Enjoy!
some salty edencom flag your post for telling the true.
this game has always been brutal, its why I keep coming back.
HTFU and work around the changes, if your a trader/producer seize on the opportunity youâve just geen given.
Ice miner? Guessing thereâs going to be less miners now, so increased profits.
Look for the opportunities that are opening up and move with the times. Break out the bubble youâve been living in since you very first logged in all those years ago.
You had your chance to defend it, but you either did nothing or not enough. Learn to live with the consequences now.
Whats the point of a system like this where the story depends on player interaction if yall will just reset it??? Oh boohoo niarja fell. Go cry somewhere else. You should have formed and showed up to defend it. To hell with resetting it. Makes all the effort put in lose its value as well as all the work being done by the people who defended or attack the other systems.
Guys who talk tough but have a history of dropping corp to dodge war decs?

Nothing CCP says is permanent. They have broken too many promises about things that would never happen that if you do still believe them youâre either as naive as a child or an outright idiot.

Hmm this cuts EVE in half no good logistical way to get around it easily. Obviously it can, but as a casual time gamer I donât have the time to bother with that. If I want to play now I just have to do something that doesnât go through there. So when I donât want to deal with that I just donât play. I totally get the right for people to do that, but Iâm just going to play other games until they swap it back to high sec. I donât think this is quite the result CCP was really looking for, but itâs the result they are getting. Too many people will unsub when they canât play the game they want to play it.
Can I have your stuff?
I mean, instead of complaining about systems ceasing to be highsec, yâall could also just fight for them. If a newbro or an alpha can do it in a meta-fitted ship, then so can you:
No you canât
And people wonder why EVE is always Dying
