Region names, on the other hand, bear as much inspiration as expansion names.

Solar System names offer the best options:
“Hey Falcon, the meeting on adding a lowsec gate to Stain is in Dead End at noon”
“And we will be discussing the state of Faction Warfare in ‘Oh ■■■■’… I mean 0SHT-A” - one reason to consider a few ‘unnamed’ systems. Also EWOK-K and I-8D0G, in comms shorthand.
“We’re going to talk about that crazy idea you had in Scuelazyns at 9 AM tomorrow” just because I don’t think any two people will actually pronounce it the same.
