The launcher have all this space and dont show in text system ether security of system. would be good if that info its display there.

You can see that info on the character selection screen, if you wanted. No need for redundant information by showing that twice while logging in.

go to settings, then 4th icon down is launch settings… click yes… and regardless what character you start in that account, it will open up like in the past to show your 3 characters and allow you to choose like the old days.

You do not see that if you log in to the character directly. Since it is now possible to circumvent the char selection screen, info from that screen should be readily available in the launcher. Especially as this launcher is supposed to replace the Char Selection screen.
Some of it is already, like Corp, Alliance. Strangely enough, this info is hidden behind icons and tooltips instead of easily readable. There is also a Char Name icon, which provides redundant information.
If the launcher is supposed to replace the character selection screen, then I think CCP should remove the character selection screen.
There is no need to have to log in twice.
However, I think the character selection screen is superior as log-in portal. It’s part of the game itself, EVE music is playing and you’re getting in the mood of another gameplay session.
The launcher on the other hand is a desktop window with advertisements and a couple links to the store, forums and support.
Maybe it’s just me, but opening the launcher doesn’t yet feel like part of the game, unlike the character selection screen.
The only reason CCP is trying to push the launcher as the sole log-in portal is because of the prevalence of multiboxing. The new launcher allows players to log in multiple accounts at the same time and allows players to swap characters even if those characters are on account number 3 or 15, something the character selection screen (or the old launcher) cannot do.
As someone who mainly plays on one account and sometimes on two, this additional functionality of the new launcher is irrelevant to me. Instead my wishes for the launcher are a minimal setup: no unnecessary distractions, basic account info (Omega status and duration), account names and launch buttons to start accounts, launch profiles and the likes.
It doesn’t need to also do all the things that you can already find ingame or in the character selection screen. That’s redundant and bloats the launcher.

There is. Logging out for login traps is faster from the Char Selection screen than from the launcher.
That’s not how it should be or should stay. The launcher should be more useful than it already is.
You can have that already if you use the smallest possible launcher window size. Most other info is hidden in that configuration.
The launcher is already bloated and made worse with every new patch. Improving the usability for many users (not all, but you are not all users either), for all I care with toggleable options for which info should be visible and which not, would be a great step forward to turn this thing from an ad distribution platform into a proper launcher.
Niche use, not what I’m talking about.
Log-in traps are also a good example of metagaming outside the game rather part of an immersive game experience.

Another use case are the login events where you want to accept the rewards outside a character to push it to a different character on the account. Switching characters is also faster with the Char Selection screen (if you can log off without the 30 second safe log off), ie. when docked.
Well yes, I too think the character select screen has uses.
Which is why I don’t think it should be removed and why the launcher doesn’t need to also do all the things the character select screen already does.
It’s exactly why the launcher should do the same things. They are both essentially the same thing and should have the same feature scope.
Right now, I have to use EVE Mon to see where my chars are if I do not want to fire up a client just to check this (because it is faster via EVE Mon). This is inconvenient and irrational since the launcher already shows a number of char select screen info pieces.
