War decs should cost 10m additional isk for each outgoing war

Why won’t it? If hisec wardec mega alliance has to pay a billion isk to war dec small corps of low isk players who are barely worth their time they may reconsider choosing such a corp as a target for a price tag of a billion isk. I bet they will reconsider.

But the corp size or age of the enemy doesnt affect the price at all.

1 bill is nothing because you easily make that back in Structure kills

Ramona, what was it you posted earlier? That many of the wars don’t result in any destruction? Interesting that. Because according to that article, the data scientist said that once wars started, people simply stopped logging in.

Oh my. Namedrop. Atleast use the @.

Sure. Because of the NERF to wardecs, where you can ONLY target corps with structures, the number of corps that are eligible for wardecs has SHRUNK.

Then they should pay off the attackers or hire someone else. There are many Wormhole groups and other merc groups that will help defend.

Any corp, big or small, can hire other players. There are no game mechanics that prevent this from happening.

Except to be at war, they would have to have a structure.

So the structure wasnt even destroyed.

Ask yourself why people dont log in when its ridiculously easy to avoid a war target?

The weakest players do not have structures. Problem solved.

We’ve gone over this already. They don’t have 100+ active war dec because they plan to kill 100 structures. They don’t attack many structures. It’s the players they are after, as targets.

Players with structures, and your idea just gives them a reason to destroy those structures; to pay for increased fees.

Again; why, if decs are easy to avoid, do people stop logging in?

That doesn’t even make sense. They are not going to earn back billion isk fees from killing some noob corps athanor. Nor are they are going to waste their time sieging 100 noob structures every week.

Wars are avoidable by leaving your corp. Maybe a lot of people don’t like that and rather quit. How should I know exactly why they quit over it. All we know is that we are told they do.

Maybe thats because its not about the money for them? Its about killing and destroying ships?

Uh yes they are if you make them need to recoup funds? Also you assume that a billion isnt change to them

And why do you keep avoiding the second question

I haven’t avoided it at all. It is answered.

Ah. So they all merged together in response to the changes for nothing then. I see. They care about isk, just not enough to siege 100 noob structures per week, every week, to get back some of their war fees.

Just because they did something that made it easier for them, doesnt mean it used to be hard before.

Do you understand what i wrote?

It would also be counter productive to their goal of mass killing of targets who they’ve generally massively stacked the odds against, if they killed all their war target structures.

They avoidable even more easily than that, and any new player corp worth a damn will explain that.

They quit because they either they dont want interaction, dont want to strategise their way out of it, or are grossly misinformed about war avoidance.

Im in a noob-friendly coalition with WH holdings. We have numerous HS structures held by numerous HS corps.

We havent received a wardec in ages (which Ive now jinxed but hey ho thems the breaks) and our new players are secure because we inform them correctly.

Is this really less desirable than begging CCP to change the game?

Also, fuelled structures get decced less.

My person feeling is that unfuelled structures should be easier to war on, but thats only my own feeling, and not backed up with anything.

Is why I left back in 2016-17. Returned to game back then and within a week had been war decd so many times I couldn’t mine, mission run, etc. I ate the cost of my sub and never looked back… To me, it destroyed the enjoyment of the game. EVE: The griefer’s paradise… will always remember someone telling me that when I started back in 2008 or so.

Sure, thats probably part of it, too.

But you have to remember, these people wardec nullsec coalitions, too, like Goonswarm and PL. If Goonswarm came into hisec and wanted to fight back, these wardec corps wouldnt stand a chance. They would have to be docked up, for as long as Goonswarm wanted them to.

Its always up to the people being wardecced. All in all, the odds are never stacked against you, if you dont want it to, and if you put in effort.

Most corps dont, so they stay docked.

Take a look at @Sabus_Narian for example. He was the head of a THOUSAND MAN CORPORATION. Clearly, this wasnt a small corporation. When his corp was wardecced, what did he do?

According to CCP, there are many who appear to feel as you. But this doesn’t fit with Ramona’s narrative.

I will defend you, my liege.
