War Warning

Hi,

In the next update can we get the “Notification icon” to change colour when you are at war!

For Example it would turn RED if your corp was at war with someone.

At the moment the only way you can tell is by going clicking the “Notification Icon”

There are other ways you could do it like -

  1. Different background when you dock (more reddish background)
  2. Music background could change
  3. when you go into your status page your character background could be different.

The notification icon would be nice to have

Or maybe your avatar could change into a duck.
Duck hunt!

I would have thought the evemail notification and red flashies in local would be a big clue.

How about you just leave high sec then don’t worry about war?

How is that works in the end?

How about changing the notification square into a red and white skull?

Following up the sleipnir loss with a Mackinaw suggests it might not matter how colorful the icon is, it only helps if you actually pay attention.

I can sort of understand not checking your notifications (but why isn’t their anything in your Corp and Alliance MOTD in bright colors?) before you have a loss, but there’s not really much excuse for not knowing you’re at war after you have already died.
