An important point lost when the top 5 responsible was published was that two of those groups had disbanded (VMG and Public Enemy) and a third was a shell of its original self at that time. I also felt like the presentation of the statistics on this subject had a clear bias and there was no consideration for player statistics on the other side of the equation.
I agree that the Inferno mechanics created an incentive to pursue economies of scale in wars. Over time this became more concentrated because it was difficult for small or medium size groups to finance an appropriate level of content while growing their corp/alliance population. There is also a long history of limited leadership with war corps that inherently resulted in the up starts falling a part after a few months.
Keep in mind that before Inferno the suspect system was different and there were other opportunities to create pvp content beyond the three war limit. Personally I had gotten 80%+ of my kills from those mechanics at that time. In recent years less than 1% of my kills have resulted from the suspect/duel mechanics.
There has been a general agreement by both sides of high sec wars that a change was needed, but any feedback from the offensive side of the equation was dismissed. I’ve seen a lot more complaining about ganking the past several years, yet that continues on.
Let’s not also forget the implications of character online being removed, but everyone knows that argument all too well.
Improbable that miners bot as they only have to check in every 30 minutes or so.

Some of them just don’t care and watch their ship gets exploded while they are fitting the next one to undock as you guys run out of ammo. #It’sAlreadyReplaced

As many as possible. The more the better. Rorquals should always outnumber the asteroids on a 5 to 1 ratio. I understand your alliance cannot do that due to some of you just being unreasonably jealous of us not being kids.

I guess it’s you projecting. I am achieving my goals ingame whether I loose a few Rorquals or not. You on the other hand are struggling ingame and your achievment of the year is “posting that others are butthurt” on the forums. In that case OP success.
