Warping to... bookmarks & overview

When I want to warp to an item that is in my overview I press ‘S’ and click on the item and my ship warps to it.
But when I do the same thing on a bookmark nothing happens. I have to left-click and choose from a drop-down menu or bring up the radial menu.
Why don’t my bookmarks show in the overview?
Why can’t I press ‘S’ and click on my bookmarks to warp to them?
Is there a way to “instawarp” to my bookmarks or am I stuck with the radial or drop-down menus?

Simple answer is the menus don’t work that way.

If you open your locations, you will see this popout icon.

I have no location in this system.

But I can leave this window open and use it to navigate my locations I have marked. You can also go into your settings and bind a key to open this window. I remapped my radial menu to the middle mouse button click. I seldom use it. Instead I right click the item from the list and the very top option is warp to zero.

Bookmarked locations will not show up in the “overview” or “selected item” windows. You can learn more about bookmarks/overviews from this and other YouTube tutorials.

I know about all that.

I will reiterate my question:
Am I stuck with the radial or drop-down menus only or is there another way to warp to my bookmarks, a way like I would with the items in the Overview?

Are those two ways the only ways?
It’s way slower than ‘S’ clicking or ‘D’ click. So there really isn’t any way to instawarp to a bookmark, is there?

Yes, you cannot use keybinds for bookmarks.

The problem is that once you interact with the bookmark folder and it is the active window, all of your shortkeys are disabled until you click elsewhere.

No idea if it’s intentional, but I’d love to be able to use shortkeys with bookmarks.

Thank you, @Gerard_Amatin That’s what I wanted to know.

So would I because warping to bookmarks is slow and awkward compared to shortkeying which gives advantage to the guys waiting on the other side of the gate.

Maybe you could post a suggestion in the related forum section, it’s called small quality of life suggestions or something like that.

Yes, I did reply to you in the first line, the simple answer is no. The remainder of my explanation is for others who read this thread and need additional information in this area. Nor do I believe I am the compendium of all knowledge that is is Eve Online. I have told others, I am very thorough in answers to technical questions, or at least I try my best.

Frankly we all know, CCP tends to ignore all those players with the drinking bird at the keyboard or they claim their cat has been trained to press keys while a toy dangles above it. I think it is a crying shame they ignore it, to the best of my knowledge, there is no other legal avenue.
