What about a new kind of planet that behaves like Prismaticite, it would be called a ‘Radioactive planet’ or similar. Its extraction would give a random PI material with every extraction.
This would give a chance to solve an issue about cartel monopolies as well as adding more planets to make the game feel less hollow.
Maybe the new planet type could be called Disco Elysium.

i never said it would just make P0.
How could it not just make P0? It’s a planet, you need to facilities to go up the chain.
But no. Terrible idea! Having different materials available in different regions drives trade and conflict two things EvE needs to thrive.

Planets only ever produce raw unfefined P0 resources though, it wouldn’t make much sense to find perfectly reprocessed biofuels to be extracted, let alone consumer electronics on a planet.
So we’re going to extract P0 and a random P0 at that, so we need to rapidly change schematics for our factories to keep up and poduce something worthwhile to extract.
I don’t see the value.
What kind of planets are you thinking about though?
We’ve got a rather wide range of planets we can find in our own solar system as well as some more exotic ones like lava and storm planets which still seem realistic planets that can exist in reality.
Is there a type if planet that would make a nice addition that isn’t ‘AI space magic’ themed?
Tbh the last update was March 12, 2025. Not that long ago EVE Online: Revenant Expansion Receives Major Update | Fenris Creations.
Not to say there could e someting new added, perhaps more P4. Of course that would bleed trough to other parts of EVE. As dicussed other recources or plantes, i agree whit @Gerard_Amatin no tmuch use for that.
