What considerations has CCP made for PvE after Resist nerf?

You jumped into a different thread of the conversation, specifically about level 4s as they are in highsec, and made posts about FW missions.

not really the topic was about resist nerfs , @Synthetic_Cultist was saying that now is harder to do lvls 4 with her apoca, i pointed that most missions lvl 4 can be done with long range weapons and a mjd because the AI is easy, near to 0 tanks required, them the talk turned to marauders , and people was talking about the amount of skills needed for them , i pointed that one can make a good sum of money using only a frig t1, them @Ivanka_Trumptard asked if the lp was from complexes or fw missions , i explained that its from complexes and that fw missions have bad rep among low sec people , and the YOU asked for

You totally missed the sub thread of the conversation then.
That was in a direct response chain built off this post, which you responded to, despite no one else talking about FW missions in that specific discussion.

Surely it’s more than just that difference in the effective HP. Look at the difference in repair amount.

How long does it take to complete that mission? Multiply the amount of time engaged with npc’s by the loss in repair hp/s and you have a much larger loss of armount health than your suggested difference in effective HP.

Literally if you were not perma tanking the room, nit’s applied twice.
If you lose 50% of your EHP due to resist loss, you also lose 50% of your rep.
So if you were able to tank your ship long enough to reduce the incoming DPS, now you rep half as much

If you take a ship that had a buffer of 30k EHP, 150 EHP/s, and the rats deal 250 DPS, you could tank 5min before breaking.
Now you rep 75 hp/s and have only 15k EHP. Now you can tank 1:26 before breaking. That’s a loss of 61% of your staying power.

It was CCP’s fault braininess. Was I not clear? Sorry but your argument that if I don’t read the patch notes in their entirety at every log in and that CCP didnt have justification to put up a GIANT WARNING BANNER and make it very evident in the game that this GIANT FRIKIN MONUMENTAL change in game mechanics is happening, is one of a troll fool. Go alpha camp a gate somewhere and pick on newbros.

Where did I say I cant afford it? I didn’t get to where I am by throwing money away “because I can afford it” for sure. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Thats what I love about trolls. Come to the forums every day a think they’re getting a laugh at what they do, then one day wake up in real life and realize that they have no friends and no one ever liked them.

What I wonder is if game companies are paying these people. As long as it appears that someone is on their side everything is okay I guess. Who is their right mind would actually support this though? I mean come on filaments are one of the latest features added to the game and they broke them. I could care less about L4 missions. I can run them faster than new players can piloting a T2 frigate.

You do know the forums and the game are two different things, right?

I repeat: what have I done in the game to make it suck for you? That is what you accuse me of.

Which has an effect on how fun and engaging playing eve is. It is dull to aggro a group of npcs, snipe them, aggro the next group, snipe, repeat. Compared to getting stuck in, and seeing things exploding and so on.
But that’s how most missions are designed. A npc battleship usually has hp that is around the same kind of numbers as a player battleship, but has a dps output that is much less than a player ship. So a group of npcs has a lot of hp to chew through, but relatively little dps. Which can be a bit boring.
Even low level missions are like this. It’s a lot more efficient to do a L1 mission in a beam Coercer, than it is to do it in a pulse Punisher, but doing it in the Punisher is probably a lot more fun.

Just pointing out that the change has a major effect on fits that worked for years beforehand. And my opinion that the people who are most affected are more likely to be newer or more casual players.

Well that’s also what I thought above, in one post I wrote “try to brawl L4 now”.

This update called “brawler paradise” actually makes brawling worse. They lose ±40% rep and gain 20% DPS for T2 ammo only … That’s a net loss.
