What do you miss about Eve that is now gone?

My opinion is if they want people in space, they should give them a reason to do so.

I haul stuff that Ive bought from contract, but I do also spend a good amount of time in station trading.

If this game isnt a spaceship simulator, then I dont see why literally every activity should require you to be out of a station. vOv

Bit of a limited rpg

Why though? Why is it bad?

Elite Dangerous is even doing walk about features. It’s the future.

People want to customise, that’s big money.

Even naming planets on discovery is a thing. Perhaps could even be a paid feature with PLEX? (No Man’s Sky and Elite Dangerous).

Mainly because I want to kill them. I cant kill them if they’re docked up all safe and sound. Other people want to kill them too though, so sometimes I have to kill those people before I kill the ones that would rather be docked up somewhere.

*I also want to take their stuff. After I kill them ofc.

Please not that. Thats even worse than putting it in in the first place. Gating game elements behind rmt when you are a subscription game is horse ■■■■.

Well, Im no good at killing people, so you can try to kill me when hauling, but other than hauling, I have no reason to undock, so I dont.

And because it costs isk to run market from my own (killable) station (which would fulfil your definitions), I dont, and use unkillable NPC stations instead which are infinately cheaper.

Now, I accept what you say to a degree, but to meet your requirements, youd basically need to remove Business and Industry from the game more or less.

OR

CCP could introduce a Manufacturing and Trade ship.

Id buy that.

Well, not at the moment, maybe once the cost of large ships calms down.

Basically, the game supports my wish to make my isk while undocking as little as possible.

Which is strange if CCP wants more destruction.

Ok, you get the first naming free and if you want changes, well, that costs?

Eveything stems from PLEX and customers, you can buy plex in game, somebody else pays, and you can then rename away.

Like your skill extractors and injectors. It’s like dual training.

I feel you there man.

Bad example, skill injectors are a large portion of whats wrong with our game right now. They’re the reason people see plex rmt as p2w. It isnt, but that how its seen.

As for everything stemming from plex… I pay a subscription fee to access all of this game. Start putting up pay walls on game content and it becomes a cell phone game.

and yet people are still here and the player count levelled off from the decline since it went Alpha/Omega and we’re seeing more future based development such as Eve Anywhere bringing in Linux from the cold.

Both Alpha and Omega pay, it’s about selling PLEX.

I play on Linux when I travel. Not in a browser, but that is a cool feature.

I only use Windows under duress.

I’m assuming the first part of the today email is comically paraphrased/characterized?

T3 cruisers.

I miss the days when the CSM were all players from the game and were not actual politicians outside of the game.

Mostly yes, I have a Linux laptop I run the full client on when I travel. It will even update sometimes. Other times I have to reinstall the whole thing.

Correct for the first parts of both emails, it wasn’t for Lara Agnon but one of my alts and I didn’t want to make the name public. And I changed it to my feelings when I read them.

Warp Stabilizers.

Ok.

How about a first person shooter game for you:

Walking in Station Psycho Killer Edition

They could create new Blueprints for side arms or small handheld weapons to keep the industry folks happy.

The splatter graphics could be done over the top gruesome.

Happy now?
