Just goes to show no matter how much sp/bling ships you have, experience matters more?
Despite you saying otherwise, the fact that various people located in different parts of the world experience the same issue points the problem to CCP’s side…
LOL Not sure, but your scenario seems a possibility. I kind of like to think of my clones as being replicants/artificial lifeforms anyway (even more superior to those pathetic baseliners) so that fits well enough.
ccp did warn me that it might be that I didn’t get my isk or stuff back…and that’s how it went. welp… Nobody to blame but myself. I gave away all the stuff I considered of any worth before flouncing off anyway, but it’s interesting how what was once “worthless bits and bobs” suddenly would have been ok. Building back better now.
They could use the same ISP routing close to CCP’s servers or it could just be random. Again if it was CCP themselves then everyone would have issues.
not forcing. Just splitting wise players and impatient players. I was one of the formers
If I remember correctly EVE had altered its BGM on the login screen on every single patches before ?
I believe it’s been untouched since citadel expansion.
Miss them.
I don´t miss people becuse I hate 99% of eve players (So darn sick of all the damn man children that is more immature than 5 year old’s )
What I do miss is Proper real expansions that you have to wait 6 months for.
A Neocom that did not make me feel color blind and look hospital clean. It´s a ■■■■■■■ game it does not need to look modern or sleek. All it has to do is work and make sense.
I miss the in game player so you could pick what song you wanted to listen to when ever.
I miss the good old days when you wanted to mine your end goal was to get in to a hulk or mackinaw becuse they where the best and was worth the isk. Today there is 0 point in getting anything else than a Procurer becuse it can tank and it´s cheap and does a great job.
long live haladas mining guide!
That’s easy. Some people I used to fly with. I mean, for all Eve has to offer, it’s the people you meet during your time in that have the biggest impact on your experience. But then again, plenty of new people to meet right
Jukebox
I miss high sec war. Yeah, yeah, griefer this, griefer that. But dying to mean players beats the heck out of dying to surprise “anti-bot” NPCs. SUPER irritating.
Defending system against the Triglavian idiocy was fun, but the final loss of the sytstems and the lingering NCP Murder NPC guns left behind was just too much for me - hand written in my game and stuff notebook:
“2020/10/18 - Start 27 months of Eve Online “Exvasion”. 27 months of reducing CCP’s supply of resources that I provide: my time and money.”
And I miss when the game was more knowable. There are too many moving parts and big alliance preference.
Sounds like something a real-life psycho rapist murderer who should be thrown into jail for life would say.
I miss high-sec war too.
The content which drives many new players away, is the same content which retains other new players - CCP would do well to remember that you can’t please everyone.
BRING BACK PRIVATEERS AND INTERSTELLAR BROTHERHOOD OF GRAVEDIGGERS!
I miss being able to use battleship weapons against frigates.
Idk about you guys, but I really miss the stock trading that was possible back in the day. It added a lot of depth and another layer of cool things to do with isk!
I seem to remember that it worked using the ingame web browser, as it was not an official eve system but it would make SO much sense for it to become an officially supported part of the game.
Also I miss ingame event that were led by ccp community peeps. Like random attacks on stations by a pirate army with titan support in high sec, the minmatars invadin amarr space to rescue their elders, etc.
EDIT: Oh wow its my cake day!
I miss not flinching whenever I read that CCP has announced a “patch.” I’ve not felt good about what’s being added to this game in quite some time. Not only do I not trust those steering the game right now, but I fear they hate the idea of a sandbox and are superimposing a vision for the game not everyone seems to like. I resent feeling like those driving content creation literally ‘have it out’ for certain players and certain playstyles.
I miss the huuuge permanent ice rocks in high security system. Communities formed around these things and I got to know a good many people well because we were able to gather in the same spot and plan to mine together. I rather hate these despawning fields that require travel and planning (because people alarm clock them now) to mine. It makes seeing the same people and making connections harder.
I miss the days when Capital and Super Capital ships were rare, and engagements were mostly battleships, cruisers and frigs. Oh those were the days!
