What i dislike about eve
Yeah, so its not just me who thinks afk cloaky camping should be gone.
According to ccp, cloaky camping is the nr1 reason people contact support .
Have a citation for that? Because no citation and this means nothing. I’ve been around long enough to know if you can’t cite it, it’s probably not true.
and im not even saying that cloaky camping should be gone…
im saying that i feel that only 1.5b+ ships (black ops) should have the power to >afk< cloaky camp
Wait… just a paragraph ago you said it wasn’t just you who though AFK camping cloaking should be gone which means you think it should be gone. Now you’re saying it shouldn’t be if you use a different ship. Your argument loses validity when you change your opinion mid-statement.

What’s the difference between a frigate and a BS AFK cloak camping you? Neither can hurt you… oh, you want to reserve a privilege to those who buy an expensive hull with a longer training time.

Why? What’s the difference between a frigate and a BS AFK camping you? Nothing… other than some big ship elitism. Normally, I’d insert a joke about compensation here…
Frigates should not even be able to light a cov ops cyno
(if anything it should require more cpu/power/whatever to light a secret cyno, thats essentialy a t2 regular cyno)
That’s never going to happen. Part of Eve is hot drops. Part of Eve is having a hunter look for targets for said hot drop…
also, your macroing would ofc get you banned, just invest in a blackops instead you pleb.
Actually, it wouldn’t be. Because I’m still attentive at my keyboard. I did this same thing in multiple games before. I never got banned once because the moment a GM paged me, I talked to them… showing I was at my keyboard. Because while the macro is active, I’m still AT MY KEYBOARD.

Seriously I don’t care about your desire to do high reward actions with no risk in a game where reward and risk are supposed to be somewhat balanced.

EDIT: easy solution to your fear of AFK campers, hire a new merc corp. There are plenty of them looking to cut their teeth and establish themselves. A simple defense contract would be ideal to start a contract history with…

In game solutions for in-game problems…

So apart from this weakness to numbers, you think they a fine as they are?

You can use them already without fear of pvp on a seperate server already.

I dont object to capitals as a whole. I object to how they function at present.

Please stop misrepresenting other points of view please.

yeah, i knew id be called out on it, i saw it on youtube CCP Q & A, i thought it was the Las Vegas Q & A… but cant seem to find it now, its almost 1 hr long… and all i know it was the blond tall dude who spoke about it.

yeah i feel like >AFK< cloaky camping should be gone, however, i understand that it will not be so, thus i belive that atleast cloaky camping shoulnt be able to do so afk and with a 30m isk ship.

I also think it would be best and more fun for EVERYONE, if “hunters”/campers had to risk something to get a shiny kill.
as to put it in your own words:
“where reward and risk are supposed to be somewhat balanced.”

and ye, people should train into the objective to be cloaky campers, why not?
people train into capitals, why should not their hunters have a long (but not as long as caps) training time?

also i belive nitpicking about smaller details, is a way to shitpost.

also i hope ccp has an algoritm to measure user time between interaction/commands, and i hope you get banned.

can you and your best pal stop offtopic shitposting in this thread already?

Now they want a Heron with a t1 cloak to cost as much as a Dreadnought.

Whats off topic about talking about Captials with one of your supporters in a thread that is about Captials?

When you become a moderator, you can do something about it.

Or you can keep trolling and avoiding obvious questions and the logic bombs you are trying to create here.

Why do you avoid the questions or statements in a post specifically about the topic question, and cherrypick sentences that are arguably veering off course?

Are YOU trying to derail this because you dont actually have any solid ground on this subject?

this thread is not about capitals in general term…
nor is it about RL naval battleships/carriers or cruisers.
i’ve pretty much flagged all of your post here as offtopic, as they rightfully are.

see how the truth separates from your own mind in this simple quote?

Really? You should edit your original post then.

YOU arent interested in discussion, just an echo chamber.

Way to abuse the system, but I can’t stop you.

Please do continue about how you worked out a frigate with a cloak is worht the same as a Dreadnaught.

No, you brought it up. Are YOU offtopic?

ok mr shitposter… im sorry, i must be senile becouse i cant really remember me typing that, anywhere.

and also i was talking about the train time to black-ops… in respons to someone who said something…
but sure grasp at straws mr shitposter

Let me remind you AGAIN

And do you think its possible for you to post without getting aggressive and swearing?

k, troll… way to keep shitposting/gaslightin whatever… get well soon, maybe seek out professional help.

Clearly not.

The only person who keeps going off topic and behaving in a childish way is yourself.

Even Beast has been very easy to discuss things with.

You on the other hand simply want to rant.

Do you have anything else to say about your own fault-riddled post or are you done here now? All you want to do is make personal attacks on people who simply cannot understand why a person would do zero research on several aspects of a complex game that thousands play before putting forward changes that would affect us all?

If thats gaslighting, you need a dictionary for christmas.

First of all, nitpicking isn’t a ■■■■ way to post. A ■■■■ way to post is to make a claim and not be able to provide a citation for it. After all, you should have learned about citing your sources in high school english. Here, let me provide you with a guide on writing a persuasive essay, it might help you in the future: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/academic_writing/essay_writing/argumentative_essays.html

Second, no you don’t think it would be more fun… you want to feel more safe. You want to be able to use local to see if anyone is there to attack you. Here’s a crazy notion: have a corp mate or 2 AFK cloak camp in your system. Nothing like unknown numbers to keep a cloaking attacker from attacking.

Third, you wish I get banned? For what? Oh, for the idea of using a macro I’m not using in a hypothetical situation that doesn’t exist. You’re so obsessed with being right and attacking people, you’ve lost track of reality.

Fourth, you’ve changed your mind a second time in two posts. At this point, you’re just a troll.

Also, make sure no one finds out who your main is. People will camp you just to get your tears. I won’t, I have better things to do… but others, not so much.

You can’t call the OP a troll, you may hurt their fee fees.

Did I answer this question yet? I responded, but I don’t think I answered the question. Got sidetracked with my wall of text.

Anyway, I don’t think any ships are “end-game” content, but I have heard CCP and various players refer to caps as aspirational goals. And aspiration goals are important because (1) working towards and achieving goals is fun, and (2) it keeps people subbed and invested in the game (which helps keep Eve full of players).

No, Im (as usual) on the same page as yourself there. Im just wondering what might make Caps that. Is it because they are the biggest? I fear many people may aspire to them not realising what they think the ship will do is not what that ship does. Carriers, eh maybe thats different. But it was Dreads I think the op was interested in buffing.

Oh, okay. Yeah, a lot of people really seem to want to fly the biggest baddest ships around -especially titans. Personally, I think Titans are for the birds. I dont’ want isk grind for 250 hours (or whatever) just so I can fire a DD once an hour thanks to TiDi. It’s not my idea of fun, but to each his own.

Quarentine is really causing some people to lose their ■■■■.

I don’t think there is an endgame to Eve; that’s one of the things I like about it. If I’m happy in subcap ships and battles, there are things for me to do.

There are things you can aspire for (like you said), but there isn’t really am endgame. If you PvP, you start as a tackler and then work towards what you want. Maybe you want to be an EWAR pilot, you can work towards that. Wanna be logi, you can achieve that.

The best part is that when you want to move on, you train the skills you need and move on.

I’m an American and I think the American obsession with endgame is one of the worst parts of any MMO. People rush past all the content, get to final level, and then complain they have nothing to do. Because they literally rushed past it as fast as they could. Eve stopped that from happening with their skill system; although, being able to buy skill injectors has messed that up slightly.

P.S. The rest of the points are also just a pile of emo ■■■■ and garbage
