well if you haven’t got it by now then i don’t know what to tell you.
I would suspect that you are disconnecting and reconnecting to the Chat Server…

In the short term, this change should not affect you at all - if we did it right then you will hardly notice a change.
In the long term, this a step towards keeping EVE alive forever, and future proofing New Eden for decades to come.

This is the new normal. Just like logging in and having no channels. Or having Amarr as your local even though you didn’t go through Amarr. Or joining fleet and not having a fleet channel. Oddly enough, you can also be invisible to others in channels. Or find people joining protected channels. Or have dual instances of channels all over your overview.
And the moment any of it pops up, there’s a fair chance for other things to go haywire as well. Like transactions, assets, ghost ship appearances, disconnects, server token drama, login server drama and more of that. Ultimately CCP’s ops team having to be invoked to take the server down.
I think the problem is that every time somebody in this war attacks a important structure or a keysystem the server gets bonkers. What leads to that the chatserver gets out of whack. IF the server doesn´t crash that is. The new chatbackend was generally a good idea. But not if the Tranquility already works at peak capacity. Like in wartime when 2 supercoalitions are going for each other.
I would be more than happy if they role back to the old chat system. Means I can check if my wartargets are online without them knowing.
Now I spend an hour or more doing locates and heading there just to discover that a locate coming back as in space actually means docked and offline in a Structure because CCP is to dumb to actually code properly. Then I go… “Well @#$%…” and move on back to HQ. It is almost like they want me to join 200 man alliance and wardec the entire world and camp tradehub/lanes.
It’s two distinct glitch types. Correlation /= causation. You can have either issue, without the other being present.

These are all possibilities that came with new chat system. 
Can’t be 100% sure but you appear to be disconnecting and reconnecting to the chat server repeatedly.
Don’t quote me though, I’m not an expert!

Near as I can tell there’s nothing we can do on the client / end user side if we’re still unable to connect to the chat servers? Just wait for CCP to figure it out? I did file a bug report at least.

yes the problems that are currently there are made ESPECIALLY for you who think they are done to annoy YOU and only you who post things like this…
They do it on purpose and you are annoyed because you think you OWN the game by paying your sub…

There is a lot more than just these issues going on. Call it direction if you will or whatever effecting more than just me. And yes everything going on does affect my game play, so does it many others. The plus point is… I can just stop paying or start again to see how things are. I vote with my wallet so does many others.
People never leave EVE… I am still optimistic about EVE. But at the current rate… I will wait and see.
