This drove the people I used to play with away. Yeah. It was griefing. So what. How do you blow up someone’s ship and not cause them at least a little grief. At least they could see the flashy red guy coming for them.

A price hike was a recent move to milk the remaining player base for 30% more in short term. This was due to an already underway mass player exit from over monetization by pearl abyss and lack of new content in 2 years. The price hike accelerated this mass player exit. Adding new gambling mechanics (hyper cores) and new ways to make stuff more expensive such as (Quantum cores) is not new content. Just like most games that are bought out and all the original staff leave it loses its original appeal. I played for 13 years. After skill injectors and then PA bought it. I knew the jig was up over monetization was on the way…
I have heard the devs tell the players they are too wealthy, While continuing to make whales even richer with the new plex prices. While making it harder to obtain wealth in-game and giving whales who sell plex a far greater advantage. That move is like PA to play favorites to whales and large spenders. In BDO to run a character properly you would need to spend about $600 USD on loot boxes. I would imagine that’s PA plan for EVE.

how do i play there? does the chinese client support english language? i know from other games sometimes they have community language patch?
You’ll need to borrow an ID from a Chinese resident and impersonate them and your connection needs to appear to originate from within China. The commies don’t mess about.

hmm same crap as with lost ark for years but many eu and na folks played with community language patch and ‘korean friends’
- it is summer and Europe and UK are in the middle of a heatwave and no one wants to be indoors
- CCP and their investors have treated EVE as a cash cow for years and the lack of re-investment has resulted in stagnation. Combined with several flops from fruitless attempts to enter saturated markets like fps has sucked up talent and cash from EVE.
- Greedy price rises.
- No new content in ages for the average player.
- Still ■■■■ scarcity
- Ball ache annoying extra steps in manufacturing.
- Crap events
- Over prices skins
- General nastiness in the community.
- A shitty fanfest.
- Nothing to foster new bonds amongst old players and get vets talking to each other and having fun.
- End game content that is only for the elite few (faction capitals)
- little medium scale pvp.

I’ve been ‘Lost In Space’ for the past 6 months so I’m not up on any CCP statements about a new update, especially one that will outdo all the other ones. In my opinion the Apocrypha expansion was the best, ever since then all CCP has done is simply chase that dragon.
Anyway, I agree 100% with most of what you wrote. And yes, players should definitely stop making excuses for CCP’s incompetence. I just recently bought the ‘Defiant Uprising Pack’ and the gender name for the Apparel Items is wrong.

O ■■■■ that must be cool having a new universe, ours is so stale now. (The ships being respawned on death seems weird thou.)
Having a single trade hub would make no sense there as there is no center of the universe that’s really clever the way high secs are on the outside with players starting on the far ends really dividing up each race a lot more.
I’m sure the conflict’s there will be crazy.
Kinda wish CCP introduced sometype of story line where our gate’s where rerouted and mixed all the space up so we get a chance to re-explore and discover.
