The irony is those very same people moan about ‘P2W’. Never mind that it is largely people like myself who buy PLEX via wallet ( in addition to Omega ) that keep the game going. I think every 1bn ISK worth that I buy should come with a little ’ you kept the game going for another 15 minutes ’ certificate.

First, big wars were a huge selling point for Eve, all this politics stuff was so exiting to read in news. CCP brought structures to high sec, and now we have all big coalitions sharing trading taxes as good partners, so no big war is possible.
Second, Eve has the most outdated and finger breaking UI, it’s so complex to learn and navigate newcomers simply can’t handle it.
Third, CCP guys are old, let’s admit it, they are making exactly same product they’ve been making for literally decades. Nothing conceptually new coming to Eve, abyssal? Triglavians? It’s just new units with some stats, there is literally nothing new for last 11 years.
Forth, playerbase has changed, in the age of fast paced games, where you can get your quick shot of dopamine it’s really hard to sell a product, with such high chances you will never get to the dopamine stage. Eve is not a game, it’s more and demand for this “more” is pretty low atm.
Fifth, man, have you seen their last video? Omfg it’s bad, not sure what’s happening under the hood, but nothing good and shrinking playerbase is clear evidence of it

I have to wonder why you didn’t go after the American bots? There are likely as many of them as there are Asian and Russian combined.
Or maybe that’s the reason.

Players on avg a few months back had like 3 and a bit chars per player I think its now 2, something which will account for the drop as the price increases and people play with less.
Also less russians playing so yea xD

But @CCP_Rattati is probably the most well liked of all time and the players love the changes so why?
I remember in 2012 Fanfest they were spruiking WIS and a type of “Dejarik , also known as holographic chess or holochess " a Star Wars-like in-Station gambling game (That Chewie lost to R2-D2 in Ep 4), everyone cheered when they saw that, those were the days :”(

If you pushing a pvp/griefer content based game then you can’t expect casual players who sometimes after 12hrs work who just want to chill and do some carebearing stuff and be sociable to turn up. Been playing since 2009, done just about everything in eve, but as I get older I like to sometimes just chill after work sometimes and eve no longer is the pace to do that, CCP lost my 5 paid subs. The increase in price isn’t the reason I don’t log on anymore, who knows, maybe it will change in the future. Many in game friends have also moved on for this reason.
