What is your Pi profit?

Good post OP, the forums always needs more discussions and dialogue. Sorry that someone early on tried to negate you / derail the thread.

They are just too familiar with me as being a braggart. But I intend to put money where mouth is someday and prove some things lol

Just for comparison, 3 acct’s, 8 toons doing PI on 45 planets. Apx 20 min a day to reset them all, I have to load the advanced factory planets every 3/4 days. Make 2 runs a month to pick the stuff up with everyone. 2 years ago when I started, it was apx 3.5 bil a month, now it’s apx 2.5 making wetware mainframes.

About 2.5m a planet a day? About what I think is very reasonable from harvest through the whole pi-chain.

I have apx 10 bil in storage. (you only need so much isk ) Should I try to crash the market?

I tried before. It’s too durable lol. I stress tested with about 1.5b dump on one commodity.

Pi is underpriced and underproduced.

Dumpers already taking a loss is my suspicion.

Crap, that reminds me, I need to make my yearly run to pickup data cores. There are many ways to create passive income in the game.

:open_mouth::worried:

Why…why…YOU BIG MEANIE, YOU!

*me crushed

I’m definitely now ready to look for more. Make a thread on the datacores?

I guarantee that there are others who can do a better job of that than I. But here’s a quick read.

“Agents in the R&D division of NPC corporations
Provided training in the respective field and high enough standings for the agent, R&D-Agents allow exchanging Datacores for a set amount of research points (50, 100 or 150 depending on the field) and 10.000 ISK per datacore.”

Edit; I only use 4 agents so it’s not much, but then I never pushed it.

Indeed, I misread the OP post, Apologies

The setup of factory planets might differ aesthetically, but their function is really going to come down to your processing power and how many facilities you have present and burning through cycles per hour.

my p2 factory planet has 23 Adv. Processors. With three launch pads, you COULD get better numbers and increase the amount of processors, but you would really have to be a glutton for punishment to suffer so many expedited transfers and their associated cooldowns, together with the reduced storage that will only reduce your hands off time. You can get away with having 26 adv. facilities with 2 space ports.

I readily share it, as I have so many times years ago, and you can see the crumb trail of its evolution to this point. I don’t believe p1 to p2 can get better than this, imo. Coolant is indeed a gold mine, because of the proliferation of Upwell structures and it being a very large portion of the material for the production of fuel blocks. You’re never going to sink that market, so I advise those interested to make a nice effort to have two of these per Omega, and you will have a very nice passive income that doesn’t really require that much grinding.

specs are 23 Adv facilities producing 5 coolant per hour for 24hours=2760 units. As of this writing 34m sell, 29m buy. This model needs attention every 26 hours or so.

I mapped out all of this precisely to make it streamlined and time effective

I should admit I run every thing at CCU IV.

Not willing to spend weeks training to V

My p1->p3 factory can churn out 288 robotics a day, along with 24 units of guidance systems. http://evepraisal.com/a/of9c5

PIck up an injector on your way back from selling to top off your skills for your main and for your alts. It is well worth it. Or at least for your toon that is managing the factory planets.

This might be a great suggestion. I haven’t looked into that yet. Now that I have great isk flow…

Could be great to use!

I just extract then make p1 and p2. Then I shoot it into space in the hopes one day someone finds it and asks on the forums who is dropping all those PI containers in space. It is making a small loss but it’s a fun investment.

My advanced factory setup.

Meh, works for me.

From my experience p3 to p4 offers NO value added.

The ONLY reason I’ll do it is when a p4 I’m making and a p3 are both profitable, I’ll do it to launder some of my p3 into p4.

This lets me spread out my weight over a broader market.

The p3 and p4 markets make their profit entirely from volume. Not from value added.

This is one of my advanced market strategies.

My p1->p3 factory. As I mentioned before, you can already see the diminishing returns for time spent on a higher tier item when Coolant is so readily available and has an even better market. If things remain as they are, there will always be upwell structures consuming fuel, but there won’t always be t2 manufacturing or it will be in flux all the time. I do this because I enjoy t2 manufacturing, as it makes pvp very cheap for even fully t2 fit ships. But you’re right about the reduction of weight if you have a difficult time exporting your goods for market. In that case, you could reduce* your trips by further processing your PI.
