I watched this one yesterday…
This was a campy reboot of a campy kid’s TV show.
Today I am about to watch…
According to my friend, who suggested it, said it is a “solid action junkie monkey movie”.

This is one of those movies that needs a warning label. Don’t view unless you are terminally brain dead. or something to that affect. If you seen The Stepford Wives it starts up like that movie and ends with WTF was that all about?

…as long as you treat it like fantasy in a story world were the laws of physics are custom made to fit the story. Like superhero movies, suspension of disbelief depends on whether it’s a good story and it doesn’t takes itself too seriously.
(No, the Moon can not just fall from the sky like an apple. First because it moves sideways (orbital movement) and second because gravity is a beetche and would shred it to dust by pulling harder from the nearest side than the farther one)
Yep. Exactly as they show in the movie.
But it doesn’t take itself so seriously. It’s a good popcorn flick.
I have a guilty pleasure for a “Battleship” film and it’s not the Potemkin…

Worth the watch!
