What setting do I need to see gas clouds

it’s a checkbox and I beleave it’s called “effects” or something similar. It’s in the middle column.

Krall it is because your overview isn’t set up right. You want to open your overview settings, then go to Tab Presents. Scroll down to Celestial and click on Harvestable Cloud.
