The thing I would grab while running from a house fire is a crocheted stuffed cat. Crocheted in thread of two different shades of green, left over from another crochet project, with small crochet white eyes and a crochet pink nose.
It’s always on my computer case, well in sight, and its value is all about the person who made it while learning advanced crochet.
Peichao Wang.
This will make you laugh,
Fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Guy can’t die due to hanging because he has a strong neck.
Huh… it might be their “demo” best, but it’s quite poor actually. ![]()
The Intern was lazy.
Made for humans. Made by humans.
This montage of images from the film Samsara and the music from Dead can dance is one of my favorite things in YouTube and I just keep coming back to it each now and then for 8 minutes of absolute beauty.
In a way, that one still is a game I would play… but then my basic gameplay loop was of no interest to CCP and eventually I just had to go give my money to other companies.
Also, on topic, here comes back Grady with another awesome video:
And, if you’re really into it, the B1M video on the 7 billion € tunnel between Germany and Denmark, the Fehrman Belt:
Everything about this kind of tunnels is crazy. Also because they’ve been built since the 1900s (admittedly under rivers but, WTF)…
Reminds me of the images from the pages of National Geographic.
I found a new way to make gardening more fun and enjoyable.
In the video below you will futuristic robots. The one at the beginning and the spider with the bulb on its b*tt are two prime examples. With the technology and AI / bot mechanics that we have today, both bots can have a route program inserted into its shell. The gardening route would programmable using Arduino. The gardening robots come out of their safe container that has locking mechanism, the gardening robot gardens its path by misting the stem and flowers along with aerating the soil with its pencil shaped probes and returns to its safe container.
The owner could even control the gardening bot using a phone via the camera in the gardening bot. The gardening bot would even have a small fan on top that would be used to help pollinate flowers where bees are lacking.
I think these gardening bots would be an instant success in the U.S.
