What would you do if you Couldn’t Gank?

You can’t be right.

The game has an economy which requires destruction. Whenever CCP nerfs PvP, they also nerf PvE income, so I am not at all concerned. There are plenty of 0.9 systems in which nobody does anything. Why add more? For what purpose? People who want to make money will always have to go somewhere they can be targeted. The idea CCP will add more protection is kind of absurd, especially when they just got rid of the 1.0 systems. I think you are just engaging in wishful thinking.

Eurotrip Safe Word Scene

Nonesense.

Eve has kept striving at remaining the black sheep in a sea of demand for mmo clones.

There is a definitive worry settling in with Exordium, but nothing indeed suggests a total reforge of highsec into 100% safetymode, as many current gameplay elements depend on that partial safety, ie Pirate HS corruption.

That isn’t a statement, it’s simply an addition to the cluster, especially for teaching players. Obviously FC feels that EVE is too complicated and is trying to demistify the game. I bid them good luck with that.
I seriously doubt that all of Hi-sec will be changed to Exordium.

I mean, logically, they wouldn’t have created Exordium.

If that was their plan, it’d already be done.

If that was their plan they wouldn’t have bothered with Exordium.

CCP can stop ganking whenever they want. Every day this doesn’t happen is evidence that Uta Asmai is wrong about everything.

For 20 years these fckernauts keep pushing to change eve into a game you could simply fall asleep to.

Let’s face it…NOTHING you say will have an effect in the end if (Fenris) decides that it is time for such a change… People that not ragequit will adapt and beside all your armageddon’esk statements the game will endure…changed, but still existing…PVP is NOT everything here…

Beside the possibility that exordium was meant like some kind of ‘test balloon’ in the first place…

If too many would have raged about it they canceled it, though no one cares and the plan continues…

Can’t happen, because as previously stated, current existing and official gameplay mechanics depend on a variable sec status for HS. A fixed one with 100% safety for all of HS would make zero sense.

If you actually bothered to inform yourself on those mechanics first, you’d waste much less of your time here, and everyone’s time to respond to you.

By all means though, keep fantasizing about the prospect of 100% safe HS under the bedsheets every night.

You do remember what mining used to be like, yes?

Stabber mining and jetcans.

Yes.

Well, my fantasy is that CCP converts all of Highsec into wormholes. The empires are shattered and torn asunder, drifting through the nether.

I can not even begin to agree with you. Exordium exists, be happy for and with that.

Eve is a PVP oriented game. A no holds bar. Where, up until recently, there were no real safe places. Just relatively safe in Highsec. Mostly safe in lowsec.. and going to down to nullsec was a full on at any moment fight. Then there is wormhole or J space. That makes the the normal space almost tame in comparison.

But if you think losing a ship is the worse that can happen in EVE. It is not. Not even close. Scams happen every day. Trading is even more cut throat than someone making a ship into a pretty fireball. Espionage on a scale that in most games. Would see players and entire corporation getting permabans.

You cry over some ships getting ganked? Really? Seriously? Ever see a wormhole eviction. Almost in every case there was a spy in that worm hole corp. Feeding the corp that is doing the eviction all the info it needs to counter that WH corp’s doctrine. Even the schedules of when most players should be on.

The Goon’s fight as much an asymmetrical war. As they do the standup knockdown fights that is shown on youtube. What I am getting at here. Is that in EVE Online your sadness over ships getting blown out of the sky in highsec. It is not even worth the tears you are shedding here.

I did that once.. Went through random gates and was chased a few times.. The most exciting part was not knowing what was waiting for me on the other side. Made it through a couple of gates in nullsec without any hassle. But lowsec was where I got chased.. LOL

I was running a T1 destroyer with a very sub optimal fit.. I think I was left alone for the most part as I looked like bait. And acted like bait. Even though all I was doing was just warping to random places in a system and then going through a random gate.
