What would you do if you Couldn’t Gank?

I can tell your favorite stories growing up were ‘The boy who cried wolf’ and ‘Chicken Little’.

Lying and anecdotal evidence you made up arent a great basis for trying to make an argument.

Its funny you mention J Space and evictions, I swear JSpace Eve is simply a totally different game. I find it so amazing we never see wormholers complain as much about losing a bunch of pixels on the forums. They’re the thickiest-skinned bunch I ever met in any gaming environment.

They litterally stand to lose entire years of hard work in one single eviction.

Yet some random fcks on the forums complain about the OUTRAGEOUS loss of a Badger to a bunch of ganking catas in HS, and losing a bunch of stuff that only took a day at best or a few hours of work to obtain…

And meanwhile of course, neverminding how easy it is to counter by simply gathering intel and planning a different route …..

The nerve on some people, hmm? @Uta_Asmai ?

I make way more isk from scamming than ganking.

The latter is just how I spend the proceeds of the former!

I did my first scam in my first week, and was isk doubling by the end of the month.

I love ganking. I love Aiko.

I have talked with many worm hole residents. They all said the same thing. Living in wormhole or j space was better than living in K space. Could not conceive why anyone would want to. In J space you have to be able manufacture everything you needed. The NPC’s are tougher. You have to really think ahead of what you are going to do. It is the wild frontier of EVE.

Would I live in a wormhole? Brother I like the idea of being able to go out dodixie or jita when I want to. I like to log on and see what has sold. What I need to adjust for. If the war is close to me and if there were any fights and what ammo, missiles, ships, and modules that just might become big sellers.

Would I ever go live in a wormhole. I may one day. I just might. But not today. Today I enjoy what I am doing at the slow pace I am doing it at. For those that cry.. Highsec should be safer. Bub, it is already to safe.

Sounds really dumb if you’re going for safety awards,

Btw when was the last award ceremony event??

Wormholes might be the last great frontier in EVE. I think wormholers are owed a dedicated expansion at this point…

Yeah, i do consider going back to J space with an alt atm, while keeping my main as pirate.

Im willing to bet you made billions from Trig Invasions.

A much needed periodic and supply/demand shuffle event for HS imo.

All of the society’s IRL problems would go away tomorrow.

You still don’t seem to grasp that stuff being destroyed is the ONLY thing that keeps the EVE economy going. As the old fable goes…if you tinker with the goose that lays the golden egg, you just end up with a dead goose and no gold.

My first real billion was from that trig invasion. And that was even moving everything to a new station.. I was in the process of leaving Uni at the time. My timing could not have been worse.. LOL

Yep everything that I manufacture and sell is destined for destruction at some point. Ship or module. Every missile, rocket, torpedo or ammo is going to get used at some point. The entire economy revolves around destruction. That is the reality in this game. Uta can argue it any way he wants, but that is the reality.

The thing is that none of you has the power to prevent it if fc decides this has to happen…your ‘zero sense’ is irrelavant under this condition.

Just because some status stayed for a long time and it would be complicated to change it does not mean it is impossible…you just IMAGINE it impossible…but if FC sees the need for a change it WILL happen regardless what you think about it and how you would react…sorry i have to shoot you off the horse here…

That was bs the first time someone stated this and it was ever since…

not relevant since a loss like that should never even happen in high as it should be…it should be 100% safe while keeping all the benefits and even get more…as i said…pve is a choice you should be able to make and this means NOT BEING BOTHERED BY PVP AT ALL. PVP can happen in low and null…more than enough space ingame for this bs…and - obviously - the devs think the same…regardlesss what YOU think about it and furthermore regardless what you think is ‘the game’… ‘THE GAME’ is what FC thinks it is and not a couple of players that are a 25% minority regarding to every number FC ever pulled up…and there is nothing you can do about it…it’s not your game…

Go play EVE Echoes or on Singularity and tell me how well EVE’s economy works without destruction.

You are just furious that it would be not YOUR ‘I can shoot at everything without consequences anymore’ kind of game…change is progress…you want stagnation because you benefit from it…

Scan down a wh or 2, it’s usually a very short route! I loved and hated it because I made a ton-o-isk but it was boring alone.

:scream: What? And have them screw that up as well?

You are missing the fundamental basis of the whole game. Everyone is in space doing whatever they like, if someone is doing stuff you don’t like you are free to stop them doing that thing any way you like (within the rules set out by the devs). How are people not getting this? I understand it and I’ve, literally, just tripped over my own feet while typing this msg. I had to get my glasses. Getting old is fun :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

So who did tell you this.. I did not see it the producers letter, but then I might have missed it. Was it in the twitch/podcast? if so which one and the date and timestamp(if possible) of this being discussed. I watched a good majority of the last fanfest. I did not hear it any of this in any of the speeches. Nor even as a topic or part of a topic that came up during or after the event.

I have looked around briefly for mention of this and while it was just a brief look. Did not find any hint of this happening any where. Either you are wishful thinking here or disclose where this information came from. If it was an NDA case.. Well for yours and who ever told you sakes. I sincerely hope it is not the case. Breaking an NDA is not something that I would care to be on the wrong side of.

Just tell us where you came into the information so that all of us can go and see for ourselves.
