Weird, right? If ganking is so easy and basically free money, why isn’t everybody doing it? Is it because it’s morally wrong and all the people playing in HS are actually angels??

I don’t think it’s easy - and there are probably more occasions where it’s “famine” vs. “feast”. I don’t think morals really enter into the equation.

It’s not super hard, but it is quite boring, there’s a lot of scouting and waiting for a target.
This also means while it can be lucrative it’s not a steady income.
If insurance paid out for CONCORDed ships, it would be easier to make a steady income with fewer ships, i.e. characters/accounts/players, and thus it would become more prevalent.

Are we putting in the same pot the following groups:

those who pull out guns for profit

those who pull out guns because they have guns (no profit)
Or we’d see the same level of multiboxing in ganking, ie: no change.
I’m not saying the few multibox gankers we have today would stop, I’m saying many more, less multiboxing folk would start.
It’s only 25% of the server even doing pvp…fenris’ own numbers from maybe 2 years ago…

I don’t gank but find plenty to do like playing Vanguard. Running the belts in Null, ESS sites, data and relic sites, mining, FW and general mischief in Null like bombing a Keepstar in Stealth Bomber and watch while everyone warp around trying to find me.
