That said, it’s pretty clear that’s a hard act to follow, and I’m sure most of the “typical” multi-boxers do use software to coordinate inputs, which would be illegal.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a way to align, warp and dock 6 clients simultaneously using only features in the eve client + alt-tab.

For the align out, the fleet window has a regroup function which makes everyone in the fleet window anchor on you if they are below you on the hierarchy. If the FC then aligns to a destination, the rest of the fleet will effectively align as well since they are anchored.

For the warp out, fleet warp to 0.

While you are in warp, alt+tab between all 6 clients and click “dock”. You can still click dock while in warp, and this will cause the respective pilot to dock on the first available tick. Since the FC fleet warped the fleet, the fleet will land together and the first available tick for all 6 pilots will be the same.

Indeed I have noticed this myself in fleets…that without me doing anything I can end up aligned to the out gate anyway.

I recently started playing again after being afk for a few years and I moved to NPC null with some friends. I daily see at least 3-4 fleet of 5-6 toons usually with almost identical names, flying the same ships (shuttles of course for accepting missions), running missions. They warp, dock, undock exactly at the same time, which is not possible multiboxing manually with 6 toons, so they must use some kind of a 3rd party software

I saw that myself. I didn’t pay it mind. I think it’s amusing to see that some players need to multibox 20 characters at once so much they are hooked on this game.

CPP… PPC? CCC… whatever, has got it 110% correct on this one. People are going to run cheats, muti-box, scam, and spam online games. So what’s wrong with making them pay cash to do it? Over in other PvP games people are building hardware to bypass the anti-cheat software.
