When hope dies: my fears on the development direction of the game

There’s no deflection. I’ve said everything I wanted to say, and at this point am simply mocking you.

Oh, so there it is…high-seccers horning in on your profits, so make it harder for them to function? Yeah, got it…no self-interest there at all, just love of the game…lol

Don’t move the goal posts so quickly. Your original argument was that we need you to make our stuff, or we’d be clubbing each other over the head with our Velators.

Hmmm. thonk

As I just said, you made your points, your points have been acknowledged, go be toxic elsewhere.

And until you trained up the skills, that’s exactly what everyone would be doing. But no…you wanna talk about carebearing? How about 6 month old toons driving around in Tengu’s? I saw one an hour ago trolling around…no work needed there anymore, just some skill injectors…and indy are the entitled ones? Puhleeze. I’ve accumulated 117 million skill points since '06, and that includes a 3-year hiatus from the game. I can honestly say I have never bought a single skill injector, or sold one. What I can do in this game I came by honestly, no entitlement or shortcuts needed.

I can’t say anything about this. When I lived in Fade I farmed enough ISK for an LSI a week and I did that for 2-3 months hahaha

I don’t care if people do it, nor do I really judge it. But I’m not entitled. This halfwit makes it sound like I just sit here and wait for capitol hulls to fall in my lap, and that’s BS.

So many little points to respond to:

Unless it’s a bug, strategic cruisers can still have the interdiction nullifier subsystem fitted. I even tried fitting the nullifier module to a low slot but no go, so I’m guessing it’s always on. Will need to test when I get my alt on singularity.

Some ships are still showing as having +2 warp core strength (Venture and DSTs (not BR - that’s the covert cloak one)). Yeah, need to test this too.

Putting a nullifier module on a BR could be very useful… especially if multiple bookmarks are made to ping off.

I’m ganna do some tests on these points tonight as well.

Remember the old scan system?

We used to run contest to see who could scan it down 1st. If I remember correctly, it was apx 2min to do it. Plenty-O-time for someone to warp out.

Now I can scan you down in 2 clicks.

I am going to “assume” that when EVE was hard, it was more fun?

Not trying to pick a fight, just were all bored and I could use the insight.

Probably a subjective question given the nature of ‘hard.’
I’ve only played coming up on two years and I have no basis for comparison. If combat probing really took 2 minutes that would be an excellent example of the balance swinging too far in the other direction from the extreme proposed by these changes.

I have to admit, I haven’t tried it in a few yrs now. But I also haven’t seen any nerfs to it either?

Last I knew, you better be set up pro to escape my wife’s toon.

Latest nerf excluded.

Despite all the crap buried in this thread I do think there’s some good discussion too. In the end of the day, accepting that I don’t have much chance of preventing any of this, I’m satisfied at least with that.

Perseverance my friend, perseverance.

Eve turned out to be like a game of poker in the end. We all bet on CCP keeping their word.

We all lost on that bet… No matter your age in game.

All I’m reading is:

“Boohoo, I’m not invulnerable while playing EVE Online anymore.”

Ok, wait, why?
Why did you do that? o.O

Then you need to learn how to read. Maybe go kiss a girl while you’re at it, develop those life skills.
