When hope dies: my fears on the development direction of the game

So what?

It doesnt change that your name is as stupid as hers, much like it doesnt change how you suck at PvE if you think this current situation is a bad thing.

Full on admissioni of griefing the peaceful residents of solitude by killing their MTU and stealing their loot. Case closed.

Also these are great changes by CCP addressing real player concern and when the 6 new gates to solitude open up will allow more players to hunt griefers and pirate scum.

And I’m the troll. OOOOOOOOOOOOKAY.

If you say so.

What are you actually trying to say here? I’m confused.

What part of

and

are you having a hard time grasping?

You are just one of these people who blames their failings on everyone else and this forum is full of em.

If Ive had enough of listening to the whine of self-appointed victims, Im allowed to say so. If you dont think I should, flag it.

I was able to read the words you wrote, I just don’t understand the point you’re trying to make. Context please? Is the point just ‘you suck kthx bye’ or do you have something to add to the discussion?

The point is that your screed is wrong, and you must suck at PvE if you arent raking it in right now.

Your attempt to cry CCP into making the game superduper safe and print money is disgusting.

Yeah, thats you you are talking about.

So the point you’re making is if I’m not making lots of money in pve right now I am wrong and I suck? Is that it? I’m not sure what that has to do with the discussion, but ISK wise I’m doing just fine.

Then WTF are you gurning about??

Just to troll? Just to feel like a big man?

Get a fing grip

I wrote two sizeable posts above that describe what I’m upset about in detail. Did you actually read them?

Just because you write a lot of words doesnt mean you are correct.

THe fact you are upset means that you ARENT happy, but that couldnt possibly be your fault could it? No it has to be someone else at fault.

FFS

I’m going to take that as a no, since you’re not actually refuting or even addressing any of the points I made.
My lunch is over, but I look forward to reading more unsophisticated and poorly crafted trolling when I can return this evening.

At least Miss Taylor Greene is actually trying

Dude, you lit up on her because her name offended you.

You sir are a grade A hypocrite.

Now, if youd like to actually make a point, Im sure we could have a discussion.

But until then, enjoy your McBurger

At one time, CCP devs had the same drive and passion for the game that the most dedicated players showed and the two separate sides actually thrived in a symbiotic relationship. Now days, it’s more like an old married couple stuck in an unhappy relationship, but too apprehensive to take effective action to fundamentally change by both sides. CCP appears to be trying to return back ( at least in shaking things up), at least, but I have never run into a company that works so hard fixing what isn’t broken, developing what hasn’t been asked for, and asking for council from experts (CSM) only to ignore their imput and criticisms until it’s too late.
That being said, there’s far too much refusing to change or adapt on much of the player community, myself included.

“Development”, “EVE Online”. In the same sentence. Now THAT’S FUNNY.

:joy:

Take another look at the game. Perhaps without the weed and/or beer goggles.

EVE finally went F2P a few years back for a reason. The game was released in 2003 and even then it was encroaching into unacceptable game design territory. The only “development” this game ever saw - in case I have to spell that out; something that EXPANDS, enhances, EVOLVES a game - was with Incarna. Which was scrapped. That was Walking in Stations as it is commonly known. And there’s also footage you can find of atmospheric flight.

A “conversation” with an “NPC” speaks for itself. :joy:

In 2003 EVE was already substantially dated as something of a mid-late 90s MMO. But FURTHER into the future? The thought of people paying a monthly fee to play EVE is like people paying a monthly fee for Tetris.

And what’s left of literally all of the “development”? A GREAT character creation system that serves as a photoshoot session to “create” your “character”… that you err… TOTALLY “play” as.

SAY CHEEEESE!

:joy:

EVE Online E-X-U-D-E-S Free to Play.

Out of interest Nascent, you do realize that these changes significantly broaden the world of nullification fits, which will extend to a variety of ships including T3 cruisers, exploration frigates, and so on, do you not? From what I can tell, this change actually brings a lot of variety to the game.

An example of this is a nullified Astero capable of everything from stealthy mobility to shield tanking that, based on some of the calculations we did last night, would make them superior null survival platforms to previous iterations of those tanks (predominantly armor). It supplants the need for interceptor exploration completely. On top of that, the interceptor now fills the same roles it had previously, but with a new module that requires some minor juggling if you wanted to, say, run it as a 1v1 frigate killer. You’ll also have to bounce and go dark a bit more often.

If you genuinely believe that the forthcoming changes squarely benefit the blob because CCP hates its non-null player base, then I hate to say it, but you’re both a kneejerk reactionary and not a particularly creative person. You’re just looking for things to complain about because you’re either trolling or fearful of change that you might have to adapt to and likely can’t. Either way, it’s not a particularly good look. It’s just painfully plebeian.
