Well, there’s no shame in doing lower level content while training up skills for higher level content.
I currently have well over 250 mil SP’s, most of my skills are max trained and I still run level 1 combat anomalies. Mainly because they’re quick and fun, plus they have a high chance to spawn Commander NPC’s that might drop Faction / Deadspace loot.
The point I’m trying to make is you don’t have to be in a large ship running top level content making a huge profit just to have fun. I pay a yearly sub and my gameplay is mainly done for fun, meanwhile it also makes me a profit so my gametime is even more enjoyable.
I never said they HAD to reward me. I just asked why should I do missions and it’s been answered.
Thank you for your bitter response.
Stay bitter. I’m happy.
I understand that. Most fun I’ve had so far is piloting a destroyer and I’m not planning to fly anything over cruiser because I’m a cheap bastid and I like to see my money ( $ & isk ) in the bank and not into someone else’s account.
As far as fun, as I said, I can have fun without paying CCP. Today I had fun helping my 90yo neighbor cut grass and trim a hedge. I got a beer and a ride to the post office. Will CCP pay me a beer? Haha!! Never.
Sort of sends the message that reads, try something in New Eden only once and then move on to something else inside New Eden or Outside of Eve Online if you don’t approve of nerfs.
The commentary around that post was deleted; Geo was answering a question DeMichael asked, not just throwing it out wildly. Several posts were then cleared because they ended up off-topic.
I don’t believe you. Yeah, mission rewards are pretty sad, but not even close to that bad. for a lv3 it’s usually like 800k each for reward and bonus, then another couple mil in loot and salvage. Usually at least a mil in bounties. I don’t think I’ve ever made less than 3 mil from one. Usually more.
You’ve never been able to make decent ISK from level 4 missions.
That brings up a good question for me anyway. I found running lvl 4 missions to be rewarding for me lately? To the point I bring this up. I “seem” to be getting more than I’m used to.
