Why antigank?

No, the Miner doesn’t work. He does play the game as he sees fit, mining is his chosen way to make some profit, paying for other goals he might have. Ganker and Miner have just chosen different ways to grab some ISKies and the respecitve outcome ist just a side-effect of their activity. Increasing supply on the miners side, increasing demand on the gankers side.
Not to forget that probably 95%+ of all miners in the game aren’t even ganked. And 100% of the miners who put a bit of effort in to their chosen way of making profits aren’t ganked at all. Because it’s incredibly easy to avoid being ganked, especially in HighSec.

Getting ganked might not be fun for everyone but could some ganker please explain to me why it is is hard to gank frostpacker?

Are they just after easy targets? Or is it that I never afk mine? Lately the only times I am ganked is when I visit Nulsec or Tama and when I am looking for trouble.

Highsec is like totally safe, even Uedama is nothing like Tama.

I’ll explain for 1 billion isk.

You really do want to be ganked, don’t you Frosty?

I like reading this.

Because some players like the aspect of mining. Having somewhat of an engineering background, I have thought about the reasons why players mine.

The number one reason is, mining is the easiest way to earn ISK in New Eden. Another reason is because the player wants to learn how to develop manufacturing flow charts to then build items from. A thinking process is involved with being a miner / manufacturer.

If CCP was to take away mining, entirely, the game would collapse completely. Eve Online would become something like PubG without mining. Without mining, there is no Eve Online.

Ganking adds to the thinking process, right?

Easy targets sounds like the correct answer. The other day I lost a ship in a FW site to two pirates.

Two things that pissed me off were;

  1. I didn’t fit my Navy Cat properly. Never fly a Navy Cat using blasters with an AB fit. Too slow, not enough range.
  2. The FDU pilot in the site with me was obviously a bot / spy because he didn’t attack the two pirates, he didn’t warp out, but instead he attacked the NPC on the button. I think his name was Cool Jack. Most likely a bot.

AIKO! Are you still insisting your cohorts gank in those cheap Tier I Alpha Clone Class destroyers? God, why don’t you step up like a real princess and give your cohorts Navy Class Destroyers which are Tier I.5 Alpha Clone Class destroyers. Shameful that Aiko can’t even equip her soldiers with luxurious ships to fight in.

Woah, calm down miner.

We don’t fly carebear ships.

Lol, Navy Class Destroyers are not Carebear ships. Besides, why not come into the FW zone as pirates and gank both sides in the sites. There are so many ships that just sit in a site, earning illegal LP.

You could make the FW runners buy your precious little FW Permits, then you would have a bigger Empire.

Skiddish?

I’m not a pirate, and I already did the lowsec tutorial.

Highsec is the endgame content.

I think @Iceacid_Frostpacker should pay 1 billion ISK for the honor of being ganked. :smiling_imp:

I can’t wait for this to happen in Uedama.

  • UNIQUE: Highsec Only - Attacking ships, structures and drones is now possible without a criminal timer and CONCORD response. CONCORD will only respond to capsule kills or assisting someone with a criminal timer in the system.

Ganker stations will become vulnerable to attack without having to wardec the ganker corporation.

Ok Dryson…

Oh it’s coming, the day that Uedama gets handed over to the Gankers and the system becomes Lawless. No freighters or any types of ships, other than PvP, will set foot in Uedama, ever again. Thus it becomes a dead system.

The Ganker, defeated using the mechanics of the game itself.

But what will the Ganker do? Will the Ganker fight to keep the system from becoming Lawless, so that freighters and other ships will pass through?

Or will the Gankers let the system fall into Lawlessness, like Null sec?

Remember, at Stage 5 corruption of a system, warp bubbles can be used.

Remember that, Princess.
