Not taking sides here just pointing out that Freedom of Speech doesnât exist here from an American point of view as there is no first amendment, so, they can do pretty much whatever they want that they feel is in the best interest of the forum.

The thread jannies are here to do a service for us. Of course you should be allowed to offer reasonable criticism on the service they provide. That they do it for free doesnât enter into it, if you offer to paint my house for free and then do a â â â â job of it, Iâll have reasonable criticism to offer you, too.

Because youâve created a new post for a topic that already has a very active thread. What they generally do in that case is delist, merge and lock the duplicate thread. Youâve just caught your thread in a state between delisting and merging.
Having free reign, theyâre messing around with peopleâs posts on an unprecedented scale over here, this is just one instance of many. Double thread, so what? Let it be. A double thread can produce different interactions from the other one, because it mightâve been created at a different time, with different people posting in it. LET IT STAND!
The rule against double threads existed forever. You can craft theories as much as you like, the fact is - duplicating threads is just clutter and a form of spam.
Do you know whatâs also forbidden? Opening forum threads to discuss moderation. Expect this thread to get locked as well.
Theres also the fact that these are not âprivate boardsâ. meaning anyone ANY AGE can find these forums and read them without making an eve online account
and like the game, these boards have to maintain a pg-13 or PEGI-12 rating.

ISD are not censoring anybody. Maybe have a read of the forum rules before posting? There are a number of topics and behaviors that are not tolerated here and if you donât want your posts removed then there is an easy way to avoid that by informing yourself on what those are.
If your thread was one of âspace-is-too-brightâ complaints then there were 2 threads that got merged together and everyone who posted on it got notified of it.
I donât knowâŚIâm thinking all bark and no bite. The loudest internet forum trolls tend to be wussies in person. Thatâs why they make so much noise over nothing on the forums and flex their keyboard â because nobody listens to them in real life. Which should be a hint for people interacting with them online.
