Why is the acceleration gate blocking my corvette? I’m tired of losing explo frigates to hacking sites that should be “safe” because their name doesn’t imply NPCs and ISDs nearly always refuse to do anything other than let me find out empirically. For 6 months I found a happy solution. I go into a corvette and try to hack and see if I get blown up. Then I remember the name of the site And now you deny me even this?
ISDs are not GMs, they are players. Low sec/null sites should not be done in a corvette imo. Maybe don’t be so risk adverse about losing a half mil hull?
The corvette is a way to figure out if I can do the site in a real ship, I expect the corvette to fail but I just want to see if NPCs show up. If yes, go away, if no, try again in a real ship.
I’m still sore about the “shipcaster” event which ate my hacking ships years ago when they looked like normal hacking sites.
Better learn to adapt…sometimes risks should be taken.
Why do you need a Corvette when you could use a T1 explorer with T1 modules for about half a million ISK?
That’s still essentially free, but far faster at exploring and at ‘empirically testing’ than a Corvette.
Why not just google it? Sites like eve uni wiki have exhaustive guides for all sites.
