This is great news, one of the most irritating things for me in this game was having to sit a character in a cyno ship waiting for someone to come and pop it, was a real pain in the butt, it also forced you to have two accounts. This is a great change for moving around. Well done CCP for removing another of my hates.
Iām not sure if this restriction is removed or preserved with the mobiles. CCP would cut itself into the bottom line. I think it depends on the way it is implemented. Today you basically jump to a character in fleet, the ship does not matter. However this will be somewhat decoupled, as the character can be next system when you jump to the dropped mobile.
Anyway you need a standing fleet. We will know next week.
True, I guess I will have to wait and see, though there are other reasons to have a second account in any case, like a scout for example.
The sitting there waiting to be wasted was my main issue, even in a noob ship it was annoying for me at least.

Yes because its a fleet beacon, this was expected, its not linked to a specific player other than for any killmails that might be generated
Yeah, from the logic. But it was not possible since the beginning of EvE, and also last change didnāt open this up, so I was skeptical.
There were POS based cyno beacons and the current upwell beacon so the mechanic for jumping to a cyno that isnāt on a player ship has existed for a while, this is just a temporary cheaper version of the upwell beacon really

Not in lowsec and NPC null. Navigation structures are sov null only.

Does it mean I donāt need to use suicide alt anymore to jump to the station in the LS with my JF? Just hope that the thing survives 2 minutes? So deployable cyno on a safe and web JF in the station warp and all that in a ship of my choice without having to stay there for cyno red cycle? Awesome!
Where did you get it? I donāt see any on the market on SiSi
If you have an alt account char being able to fly an industrial or Venture I donāt see a benefit of the new beacon for JF pilots. Remember it costs 20M, much more than a cyno indu or Venture you may lose.
Yes, but for WH Logistic it is better not to be stuck in one place in a useless ship for 5 minutes when fetching supplies or taking things away.

you come out of a WH in the LS with a cloaky ship, place a beacon on the safe, jump on it with JF, become insta webbed to the station. Safe and you still have cloaky ship on site and not a useless industrial.
