The real money gains and losses make the game exciting and intense… I’ve been playing solo because of the increased challenge of trying to be successful in the game… I’ve enjoyed all the crazy things I had to do to build my little solo empire with one omega and four alt accounts… As a result, I’ve had some expensive losses from being ganked, but I dust myself off and try to learn from my mistakes… There’s a level of real-time risk and strategy that doesn’t exist in any other game… I play Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, and No Man’s Sky, but I always return to Eve because the other games do not have the same excitement, intensity, and strategy level as Eve… This showed me that game mechanics are alot more important to me than than the quality of graphics… That’s my two cents…
The End Game: You won this game when you successfully quit and never return.
As soon as you make a suggestion or highlight an issue one of the pundits will show up and be like “No, the game is perfect”
Because you are in another world that you can be your true self.
It’s just their hobby. Even some Minecraft players get super serious. EVE is a niche game so it has a specialized interest to certain players. Like any hobby, some people get into it, some get too serious about it and others just keep it on cruise control.
maybe i am getting too old but my brain is refusing to cooperate when i look at that picture
You are under my spell Kitty
I would delete my account and all my characters if it meant I would get the man I’m in love with. That’s how serious I am about this game.
EVE isn’t anymore special then any other game. I played a horse racing game on my mobile device where people from all around the world joined in. People spend thousands of dollars on that game.
They get upset in the forums and blame each other for creating alt accounts and flooding the tracks with garbage horses in order to inflate their winning percentage. The best blood lines are bought and sold for real money.
You cant go to a single forum on STEAM without seeing people arguing over a game.
Bottom line is once a person gets invested they usually go all in. EVE is no exception.
Roleplay is a serious type of gameplay.
It becomes serious when real money is on the line.
Have you purchased a roleplay permit
from Aiko?
A roleplay permit costs more than what Frostpacker can afford, which isn’t much.
Now that I’m flying a covert ops fitted, 900 DPS, Tengu…the game is perfect.
Now hold on there, that’s unreasonable.
Roleplay permits are normally 10 billion isk (including one FREE plot twist), but we also roleplay with compassion. For a limited time, we are offering a sliding fee scale, with roleplay starting at just 1 billion isk for those who cannot afford our full rate. But wait, there’s more! Pay now, and I’ll throw in an extra character arc. That’s right, one billion isk gets you all the roleplay your heart desires.
- Please roleplay responsibly.
real money gains??
It will be when your Tengu is on my Killboard
Meh…you’d have to catch me first. And I can multibox them…so another one might uncloak just as you are attacking my ‘solo’ one.
Bring it
You mean until the game locks up when you meet certain conditions flying your T3C - right?
