So recently the corp I am in joined an alliance out in drone lands. Did some google searches made it sound like while rouge drones don’t drop loot they have higher bounties to make up for it. Well that’s just wrong. The guristas battleships that I’m use to fighting have a bounty of 1mill + while rouge drone battleships are giving me 500k+. All of this while also not giving any loot and apparently the salvage is really bad as well (haven’t tried that yet). Is there something I’m doing wrong or don’t understand or are rouge drones actually just really bad for isk making ?
The numbers are the numbers, so I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. It’s just a little imbalanced. Though to be fair, I generally see more drone rats (in terms of numbers) in a given pocket than I do other rats. So maybe it’s a case of lower bounty, but you make it up in volume?
Minor quibble though: It’s “rogue,” not “rouge.” Rouge means red, or refers to makeup for the cheeks.

You are fighting the lowest tier rogue drone battleships, Guristas have those as well, it all mainly depends on what anoms you are running (or what sec status of space you are in).

You can change the region if PvE in the other one will be better for you.
You cant expect anything good from vermin drones feeding on scraps left by previous owners of the space. It is like farming rat tails in a basement.

Drone alloys used to be a thing. I miss those.

I generally ignore drone sites because they are slightly harder to kill, offer no loot and give less isk reward. This is inherent in drones across the board.
