Your logic is that Amarr gun ships, as in laser ships with mostly laser related bonuses, are just fine because if they train a completely DIFFERENT turret line that they do NOT get (damage and/or tracking) bonuses for. Which is somehow better than you switching ammo in your launchers which for SOME ships is a dps issue (but not necessarily an application issue).
One requires you toā¦ switch ammo whenever you want to use it. The other requires you to train a completely different turret type, fit it and change your fit around it, BEFORE HAND. If that somehow seems the same thenā¦ yeah.

Thanks. Anyway, what this thread mostly comes down to is why do HMs still suck after all this time? Even with the kinetic bonuses, they are still useless. And why are hybrid options so weak on caldari ships.

Also I already know why HMs are crap. Itās cause 10 years ago, TEST used cheap Drake fleets to get up goons ass. And mittens persuaded CCP to nerf them into oblivion.
Well that was 10 years ago and the nerf was never justified. And it has never been resolved.
Itās funny aswell. Cause CCPs response to cladari hardware being so weak has always been āThey might be weak individually, but theyāre designed to be strong in a fleetā. And yet the reason they were nerfed so weak is so they couldnāt work as a fleet. Thatās a total crock.
This is precisely what we did prior to the introduction of the Tornado. The arty apoc torched many an Exhumer in itās day. And also during the glory years that CCP ruined when a single shot in 1.0 would eliminate the evil botting miner. You could not miss!
