Why should I renew my subscription?

Now you add petulant arrogance and ad hominem to your stonewalling.

There there. I’m going to go watch TV. Feel free to argue into thin air if you insist on continuing.

Now you add false quoting.

By my count, you’ve said its “over” 4 times now.

Its pretty clear who is the one that cant stop arguing their lost point, and has to keep coming back, or their ego/life cant handle it.

Now you resort to memes.

How low can you go, mate?

Aah, yet another meme, and trying to get the last word too.

Impressive.
Can you sink even further?

Jesus you’re quick. You must have one hell of a personal vendetta, just hovering over your keyboard waiting for me to reply, so that you can poke back ASAP. Dude, you have a personal problem here. I strongly recommend you get over it, and yourself. I’m going to block you now, if I can figure out how, because it’s clear to me that you have a massive personal issue and it’s creepy as hell.

  1. Implying you arent hovering at your keyboard, responding immediately with memes and fallacies and sinking ever lower, though you said its over 5times now? Projection is strong!

  2. Oooh, the “block” argument! Wow! Have you hit rock-bottom yet, or is there more to come?

  3. All this from the self-proclaimed alpha husky!

  4. None of this is personal on my part. You are the one that has been getting increasingly personal in your attacks. I’m just calling you on your false claim.

PS: Cos Im a nice guy, Ill tell you there is no block function, to save you the trouble,

You’re mistaking observed facts for ‘personal’. I’m calling it like it is. You are obstinate, arrogant, and ignorant, and you demonstrate it with nearly every post. You can’t see it in yourself because you haven’t got the ability to be humble. I’ve tangled with people like you my entire life. I’m used to your kind of behaviour. I know I’m not going to convince you of anything once you’ve decided you’re right, while being completely wrong, and the idea that someone might disagree with you is so challenging for you to fathom that it can only be the result of ‘projection’ or some other mental incapacity.

At the end of the day, though, everyone that’s told you you’re wrong is better at this game than you, and demonstrably so, and has been doing it longer than you. Basically, that makes them an authority on the matter, and everything they’re explaining is demonstrable and backed up with examples and citations, none of which you’ve been able to provide to support your assertion that stats alone make the advantage. You’ve also yet to demonstrate or provide a real existing example of a new player being helped by SP injections in any way at all. You’ve just made assertions.

You’re like a flat earther trying to convince an astrophysicist that they’re wrong, while standing on your podium with nothing but your words, while the physicist explains why it’s actually you who’s wrong, with reams of mathematics, photographs, etc, that you just ignore as if they don’t even exist.

Salvos, the only time you ever drop an argument, EVER, is when a thread gets locked. You have been wrong a thousand times over on these forums and the previous ones over the last few years, and you’ve NEVER admitted it. This is why I know you never will, and why arguing with you is pointless. So, this will be my very last reply to you. I said this before and I didn’t stick to it, but I’m going to now.

Whenever you post something dumb, I’m going to quote it and explain why it’s wrong. I won’t be replying to you. It won’t be an argument with you. It’ll be for the benefit of others. You and your opinions will remain, as always, less precious to me than a dog turd.

Wow, you really are just waiting for me to reply aren’t you. I even waited this time to see how long you’d wait for the reply. Didn’t even walk away for a cup of water, did you. Turns out, you really are obsessed. Dude, get help.

Ok, man.
I understand and know you have issues, and admitting your mistake just isn’t possible for you to do. I was asking for more than you can feasibly deliver.

In deference to those, go ahead and post your last word, and Ill leave it at that.
I dont want you to have to sink any lower than you already are.

Do what you must. I have already won.

Your character is 4 years old so at the time of the test it would have over 48x the amount of SP compared to a 1 month old character, assuming both never inject.

So you basically say that a 1:48 SP inbalance is not enough to test your claim that SP is more important than skill? Because 1:48 SP don’t really matter all that much compared to skill or because the SP advantage is already gone after a month of training?

Please explain.

Its not my claim we are testing, its Remiel’s:

Seeing as neither of us are “new players”, the closest you and I can get to that is you as the “skilled PvPer” vs me as the “unskilled PvPer” fighting it out with you not having SP (which an injector would provide as “helping”) vs me with SP.

Although my SP would allow me to fly ships you cant (as part of how SP helps, even a new player), its simplest to reduce the test to the lowest common denominator.

Even a new player (without SP injector) can have an abundance of isk, and since this is about SP vs skill, not isk, I propose:

  1. We both fly a corvette (whichever starter corvette we want), and fit whatever we wish/can on it, and the character.

This way you can fit as bling as you want (including implants/drugs), as isk is not related to skill/SP, and so can I, as my SP allows me to fit modules etc you cant, due to your lack of SP.

OR:

  1. We both fly a default corvette, with default fit. No implants/drugs etc. This, however, ignores the “help” SP allows for module/implant/ammo choice etc.

OR:

  1. We both can choose to fly anything we can, and fit it and the character however we can (excluding you injecting SP).

Ill leave the choice to you.
The 3) option is most accurate of SP vs skill, as pertaining to Remiel’s claim.

Your suggestion of you training a month, equals an SP injector roughly.
That goes against Remiel’s claim, that injectors dont help new players AT ALL.
So we cannot include you with 1 month SP/injector, as that would contradict his premise.

Ok, bro.

I responded to you claiming that:

To which I responded with a list of factors which play a role in a fight, of which SP is clearly one of them, but that all the other factors are far more important.

And then you responded with:

An I offered you to fight you with a 1:48 SP advantage so we could test your claim that “tiny tiny” amounts of SP, if we want to call 1:48 a tiny amount matter.

And now you refuse and say this defeats the purpose of the test. So I may have misunderstood you, because this looks to me like you perfectly know that SP does not matter all thst much.

So is the whole point of this a 100 post bitching because remiel said:

“Skill injectors don’t help new players at all.”

Instead of something like:

“Skill injectors don’t help new players at all. Except in extemely early gameplay in the first weeks in 1:1 duel scenarios with which are unlikely to happen and where per pure chance both have similar ships where range, speed and damage types don’t matter.”

Something like this?

The claim to be tested, is Remiel’s.

If SP injectors dont help new players at all, as was his claim verbatim, you wont need an SP injector (nor its equivalent in ~1 month SP) to defeat me with my current SP.

As we have already agreed, you have PvP skill, I dont.
