Why the email cannot be changed immediately?

I tried to change my email address at EVE account management. It says it’s in progress, but I get nothing in my mail. Nothing in trash or spamfilter.

Anyone else having this issue?

I never tried to change my email address but it doesn’t seems to be right, try to contact the support.

Still I am waiting for the email to confirm my new address… This is awful.

Two things:

  1. a delay means they can reduce the chance of someone stealing your account.

however it’s most likey #2

  1. something is broken, send a support ticket for your account stuff, they tend to get answered fast.
