I’ve noticed when I have EVE forums open in Chrome browser and the game client running in the background that the forums in part or in whole occasionally freezes up. I don’t know what could be causing these freezes, only that I was recently forced to install the Windows 11, version 24H2 update.
Does it have to do with the changes the Windows Update made to my system? Does it maybe have something to do with how the Client and Chrome browser interacts with Windows or each other?
Have anyone else experienced something similar?

I don’t know if this is applicable in your case; but, it is the only commentary, I’m aware of, discussing the potential/probably impact of the 24H2 update:

Thanks, however my issue is not with the client but with Chrome browser/EVE Forums. I don’t think it’s related.
I don’t use Chrome but I have a weird intermittent issue where the top left portion of the screen becomes completely unresponsive e.g. I cant click on my character icon or Neocom menu. If I alt tab in and out the game it goes away but comes back.
Rest of the Neocom menu is fine such as wallet and fitting icons. Its like there is a hidden box over the top left portion of the screen. Only other things running are discord, eve-o and mumble
As described in the Reddit post @Sere_O_Asis linked, if you have OneDrive install and set it to sync your user folders it can cause issues when EVE tries to write to it’s log-files in it’s folder in the Documents folder. To “Fix” this issue you’ll need to specifically unmark the EVE folder for sync.
