After seeing the changes to carriers in the Catalyst Expansion, I can say that it looks good. I’m glad that Carrier got some support for Shield booster and Armor repairer. However, have you thought about expanding this support even further and allowing, for example, High grade Crystal and Askelpian sets to work on carriers?
I hope the quality engineers for the update are better than the ones who checked the catalyst release notes. How can you spell “dreadnought” two different ways in the same paragraph? C’mon, you know it is not “dreadnaught”.

If I remember we had a 2D map in 2007 when I started to play eve. Then you made it 3D and now your back paddling and adding in 2D map again. What´s next Return of Clone insurance or even Learning skills ?
It´s looks like a Decent update but honestly the day you will see me return to EVE is when you add back the COLOR UI we had back in 2007 with colorful NAV icons. EVE online is a game I want it to look nice I want to have fun when playing.
The hospital clean UI is just depressing. “OH but it´s more sci-fi people say” I say well just add the Color UI as a option I can turn on and off. So people that want to old color Icons in the Nav can have it and the one that was the stale depressing look can have that.

The NeoCom Bar was fine how it was before the change, CCP needs to start fixing stuff that everybody asks for instead of constantly changing things that nobody asks for…
Fully agree the old NeoCom Bar was great and this new one is just depressing and also my god how often I open the wrong thing because some of the icon looks identical when they have the same color.
If I wanted a game with out color then I would just connect the PC to a old black and white TV.
Really looking forward to the 2D map and being able to use the best of old 3D map features alongside it.
I know I complain about no color in the Neocom. But I do wanna give kudos to CCP for finally remember they have mining in the game and make some improvements. Last time mining got very large update was in 2008 when we got the orca. “I don´t wanna say ore cargo hold and ship compressions was very large updates more just added nick nack”
Now if missions could get improved maybe some new ones and not the same old one we had for 200 years.
But I guess after this mining update we will get 200 more pvp focused one and then in 2048 we will se some more PVE changes and improvements.
When is the trailer coming out??? And how are we supposed to get the Pioneer and Venture consortium issues?

I’m a big Eve miner, with one main account that boosts and nine alts that mine in Hulks.
And honestly, what I love about this update is: 1) critical hits, and 2) the keyboard shortcut for compressing.
I saw in the forum that quite a few players are complaining about the critical hit feature, because for many, I think it disrupts their play style quite a bit, and I can understand that in terms of laser synchronization.
Personally, after mining in HS, LS, and NS,
I managed to get the synchronization right once at the beginning, but by the end it was more of a pain than anything else. Sure, critical hits may be difficult to manage because the cargo hold will fill up faster, but being able to compress everything with a single keystroke will already significantly reduce the number of clicks I have to make and, by extension, I won’t waste time clicking on Eve Preview, moving my mouse to my cargo hold, clicking on the cargo hold window, CTRL+A, right-click, compress, and dragging the mouse to select the next account on Eve Preview.
Now I click on the window, shortcuts, click on the window, shortcut.
This saves time, time that I can allocate to checking how my holds are doing, and if necessary, if my holds are filling up too quickly for my liking, I can allocate an account to shuttle in a Mammoth. If using the Hulk becomes too complex despite everything, I can switch to a Mackinaw.
Admittedly less effective in terms of fast mining, but easier to manage.
Personally, I’m eagerly awaiting this update. Of course, certain aspects of my mining method will change, but just for the sake of having a shortcut that we’ve been waiting for far too long, I’m happy to change my mining method to find a way to be even more effective with critical hits.
