Should never have been implemented in the first place. We had a 14 day trial period, after that, you had to pay a sub. Any game that implements a F2P mode starts to go tits-up at that point…

Uh huh. Between how many people? One player making 9 billion would be a problem. Three hundred players making a combined 9 billion would not.
Why would any multiboxer care about a loss when he can replace it when its time runs out in 30 days anyway?
Just like Elder Scrolls Online. Pre-ordered it, played since day one, watched the Devs state that it would never go F2P, then what happened less than a year later? It went F2P, followed by a cash shop, and it turned into a Korean MMO grindfest…

To be fair, FC said that themselves at Fanfest.
They are trying to make EVE more mainstream and appeal to the “modern audience” which is not, and never has been, their core constituency. The only way they can gain new players of the current generation is to dumb it down to WoW-levels…

Its called a good gesture, thats all. Its usually always worth more than any of those those other things you listed. The good gesture will always be remembered…its been proven over and over again.

The reason people multibox is to “make money” not to “be safe”.
Nobody is wasting their time pretending to recycle alts every 30 days so they don’t lose a venture in exchange for half their income.

Holy threadnaught! EVE is dead. Not because it’s dying - but because it’s been absolutely boring for years. I’ve left twice only to return twice. Why? I left due to sheer boredom. Why did I return? No idea.
I don’t need to join a corporation or interact with anyone because I can survive on my own just fine. Either I’m my own (arguably small) wheel or I’m simply a cog in a much larger machine. And EVE has been this way for some time now.
Everyone in this thread is right: EVE has been slowly dying through thousands of cuts to the point where something like Exordium won’t have any noticeable impact - even if exploited.

and with no player structures, and most likely orcas not allowed, how else will ppl compress ore??

Orcas were allowed just fine during the preview. We’ll see what happens on the 9th.
