Long story short, you would be stupid to refine anything in Exordium when there is a fully functional non-nerfed refinery just one jump away, so why bother nerfing it in the first place?

…You have it backwards still.
The nerf exists so a guy in Yulai doesn’t want to haul Ore into exordium to use the facilities in the safety zone.
Similarly, it gives the guy in Exordium a reason to leave Exordium - to use the better facilities - which you would think would be something you want? But apparently not.

Why would they do that? Your ore is perfectly safe inside the NPC station in Yulai for you to refine at your leisure. No player would willingly take their ore into Exordium to refine it, even if it was on-par with other high sec stations…
The facilities are worse so they’re not attractive alternatives to highsec facilities. This has been said many times.
People taking a step out of exordium to use a better refinery is a good thing, and it’s hilarious that you’re now acting like it isn’t. Grow up.
What’s a flower worth vs a helping hand? ISK, advice, paying those worth it triple their loss and protective cover? Fail.
I’m not talking about players mining outside of Exordium trying to refine inside of it. I’m talking about players mass mining inside of Exordium, compressing it, and making one little jump into Yulai to get 10% more base yield on the refine than they otherwise would have got. Because you know it’s going to happen. If you haven’t taken the hint yet, I’m not talking about new players…

They’re supposed to do that. It’s not an oversight, it is clearly, obviously the point.
They have a built in reason to take their stuff and fly it out of safe space into the real game. We want them to do that, yes? We want them to leave the safe space that you’ve been crying about for a month straight?

Again, I’m not talking about new players doing this. FC, in their infinite wisdom, are allowing anyone to enter this space, mine to their heart’s content in 100% safety, and ship it outside of that safe zone for processing. Again, not talking about new players…

I started in null because a friend invited me to the game and he lived there.
I’ve had toons in every major alliance and made a lot of ISK.
But yes, null was too time consuming for someone with a wife, kids and a full-time job.
TiDi is real, so they can keep that as well.
The multiboxers are able to do math.
Alpha accounts are free. It costs them nothing. Fire up X amount of accounts, set them to mining, walk away and do whatever you want knowing they can’t be ganked. Free ISK, 24/7…

I always thought alphas were too powerful. Should have been kept as a trainig tool.
You are mashing up a babybrained carebear Timmy player with an extremely hardcore, industrialized player in a way that does not exist in reality.
Timmy has a venture with mismatched mining lasers and worries about gankers.
The guy running 40 accounts does not care about gankers. They are not part of his calculus. Any amount of accounts he can fire up he’ll just fire up in highsec. Exordium is all downsides for him.
