Wondering how many "mega multis" will be heading to Exordium to avoid ganks

How long have you been playing?

Null is good at first and if you are young and have no family life and can defend your assets in hour long fleetflights and roams.

At some point it hits everyone and thats why you start in highsec, then you usually venture to 0.0 at some point and then back again to highsec at a later point when you are out of university, education and the like and cannot sustain the hour investment and need to be able to leave your computer the next minute due to family calling.

You made the point. It’s on you to prove it. Lazy players…

Ok, that’s me!

Never married, no kids so I win in EVE! Sounds empty but you have no idea how fun that lifestyle is or how much fun I’ve had in RL because it’s shorter than you think.

bumping never required yellow or red safety, so i fail to see how its nerfed

The point I made was that if you think 9B isn’t a lot of ISK, then please send it to me.

I fail to see how that is any statement on the company who owns the game or their intentions.

You have clearly misconstrued what I said, labelling it as such with “seem to think” in your reply. I have absolutely no control over what you think I seem to think, and have no interest in proving it or not.

Of course there is also an option to go back to 0.0 again once you retire from your job… …for me that means EVE hast to last another 15 years or something…

Come on now, you’ve been playing long enough to know better. First it was nerfed when you could no longer perma-bump freighters until your gank squad arrived. Now they limit it to 3 minutes and you auto-warp. Now you can’t even use an MWD around stations in Exordium for purposes of bumping…

You’re being overly dramatic.

Stop fear-mongering.

Players whined about bumping, and it was nerfed. Players whined about cloaking, and it was nerfed. Players whined about wardecs, and they were nerfed. Players whined about Alphas being able to gank, and it was nerfed. And now we have a “safe space”. You people are either being intentionally dense, or are just too stupid to see a pattern here…

I gave away over 100 bil on the forums to players who seemed worth the effort, Mike and his school bus and to some for just calling my bluff. Can you say the same? I’m fuzzy now because I tried to help new players. Not gonna make that mistake again because I have not seen a worthwhile post in at least 2 yrs. I gave the last of my pocket change to the gankers.

It is a base data point. Let’s come back to it next month when hopefully the values are better based on the actual stabilized ore market prices.

But there is an actual usable datapoint in there right now and it’s 29,000,000 m3.

The NPC station ore refinery rates in Exordium are nerfed to base 40%, but the geniuses at FC didn’t take into account that all you have to do is compress the ore, load it into a hauler, make one little jump into Yulai, and refine it at full value…

I retire in 2 months. Null always left a bitter taste in my mouth the 2 times I tried it since they were my primary prey when 1st started. Not gonna pay to line their pockets unless the do something out of the box for a co these days.

Why would you think they didn’t think of that? The nerf is to the usage of refineries in safe space.

You can also bring your stuff outside of exordium to sell it and avoid the market taxes, etc. It’s not an oversight, the intent is just to discourage the use of those facilities Vs. the normal ones for most any non-newbie purpose.

Hmmm okay, so we have to wait another month…okay.

Well, 1 jump isn’t much of a discouragement…

That’s what I’m waiting for. Been here a long time and learned to wait for the actual results.

Okay? The point is that you don’t want to haul ore in there for the purpose of refining it because the refinery is ■■■■.

It is not meant to moderate the value of the tier-0; that has its own built in nerf.

Yes, I understand that. But that nerf can be offset by new players by simply making one jump into Yulai and using a normal high-sec NPC station to refine their ore. So why even bother nerfing the refining rates in Exordium if it only takes one jump to nullify it?
