Well yes. And it is completely rigged against you 99% of times in EVE. So then there is no surprise that half the players stays in HS and almost never leave…

Get rid of fleets, boosting and logistics in high-sec, buff station and gate defences and you could probably ditch CONCORD.

I mean it is the same way with all new expansions…or do you always wait until someone writes a howto wiki page for you to avoid thinking yourself and thereby preventing to have the profit of the early thinkers and tinkerers?

Usually you can make heaps of isk if you think through the patch notes early or try to learn the impact of new mechanics from announcements and the test server and deduce suitable economical action.

I would then think why that perception is as it is and try to anticipate and avoid situations that are rigged against you. I always found countermeasures, else i wouldn’t still be enjoying the game.

Another major option is of course to join the other side that rigs something against others…become a member of an alliance and join their fleet, be a member of a gatecamp, be a ganker, be a scammer…whatever…usually banding together with other people helps if you can’t figure out something on your own.

Nothing is stopping you to either get on the other side or to avoid the situations if you learned that they exist and know how they work.
