aren’t mythical they just aren’t super common both can jump caps through them.
Select N290 or K329 - you will find a notification that these holes do “never spawn”. And thats exactly how I experience it for years. I have scanned thousands over thousands of C4 connections and never an XL hole was among them. That would be statistically most unlikely.
@Lesican About the Q003 - they are rare, but yes, these do exist but only to NS (which technically is K-Space but I think the meaning was rather LS or HS connections usable for logistic… which these holes don’t allow).
I just had a C2. 3 accts. A surprisingly good hole for a C2. Took me a long time to find it and shall we say, creatively acquired it. 1.5 bil every 3 days doing PI. Made for some very close chases up and down the old/new pipe. Especially on a wk end! 
Never lost a DST that way. I “don’t” think I ever lost a DST? (can’t be sure?) Lost a few epithals in the hole.
I’ll never forget this one player who just came outta nowhere! Most I would see coming but could do nothing about it anyway. But this guy was good! Popped the ship and pod faster than I could type this.
I had joined some other small wh corps just for the battles, but everyone had outside income like I did. It was more of a staging point.

not terribly useful, but I concede the point.
i have scanned many, many thousands of wormholes from inside a C4 and I have never seen either of these spawn.
They’re marked as inactive, so until there’s some solid evidence to the contrary, I’ll continue on that basis.
