I was luck enough to join just in time to get these, but I have no idea how to fit these to my character. I right click them and there is no appropriate option for fitting. I have asked in Newbro chat a couple of times, but no luck with getting help.

Dock in station with the items in your item “hanger”
Enter the character customization screen using the station services icons
You should see it as an option on the type of clothing it is

it’s the icon that looks like a T-shirt.

Additionally: If your forum avatar does not update on its own you might have to log out in the forums then sign back in again which should theoretically update your profile picture as well.
Might have to repeat the process some time (maybe a day or two) later if it does not work on the first try.

Just wanted to add that after you’ve selected your portrait and leave Character Customization, it would be a good idea to ‘Clear All Cache Files’ in ‘Reset Settings’ tab of Esc menu, basically doing a re-log back into the game.
