Joy
Warmth
Pride
Today, a new face has introduced themselves
Where will they go?
What will they want?
Who will they love?
I can’t help but feel a desire to find out
Like it would help me to find myself.
Right now, one person crying
Sorrow?
Happiness?
Laugher?
Today, something has been experienced again
What was it?
Where did it happen?
Who else was there?
I think I remember when you would share these thoughts with me too
The imaginary form of everyone, nestled within my own mind.
Because, at some point, we all came from somewhere
Regardless of whether we wanted to or were prepared to
Regardless of whether we knew why
Regardless of whether we knew where we were going
